I love your explanation on savings challenges! I started cash stuffing about 7 months ago. My mom and I love talking to each other about budgeting. I've tried explaining what I do and sent her videos but it hasn't made sense. I think your video will make more sense. we love states away so I can't show her in person till she comes for a visit in September.♥️

I still don’t get this, I save money by moving it all to a harder to access account after my bills are paid. It also earns much better interest.
Haha she said it’s not fun to transfer from one account to another. Literally I get so much joy out of the transfer, I guess I’m just weird.
Hi there! I think it boils down to personal preference. Some people are more analytical and others more visual. For an Analytical, the act of moving the $ from one account to another would be similar to the more granular process of Savings Challenges for a visual person. I’m definitely a visual person. It’s how I learn and get and stay motivated. So transferring money from one acct to another, although can visually be seen by looking at the accounts on a screen, doesn’t resonate as much with me as the physical process of saving the money along the way though the savings challenges. There’s no right way, and no wrong way. It’s all just up to what works best for each person in their individual situation. Budgeting and Saving is definitely not cookie-cutter because everyone’s situation is different. The important piece is that anyone willing and able to have a budget has a successful one, regardless of the road they took to get there. I’m so glad you found your road and found something that not only works for you, but also excited you along the way! Happy Savings, and best of luck in your Budgeting journey!!!
@@PartyPlannerPaperie this totally makes sense. I am very much an analytical person. Also one of the big things that has helped me save is to stop buying crafting supplies. I have so much unused stuff there is no reason to keep buying.
