@@justpatrick_ I'm not assuming, I implemented reanimated, entering animations for my app and I see jitters and stutters when I launch my app, and when I navigate from bottom tab screen to stack screen it navigates with janky animation
It’s done on purpose because you can render anything, the renderItem was just for tutorial purposes and I thought that it was out of this tutorial scope.
I am loving this series
I am happy to hear this!
@@CatalinMironDev we are loving it! thaanks catalin!
Head injury seems painful, wish you a speedy recovery
Actually, I have this since I was born
Amazing work
Thank you! Cheers!
Very interesting how this animation will affect performance on heavy items where not just simple text and one small image
It shouldn’t affect the performance because you can always render just 10 items at a time in the FlatList.
@@CatalinMironDev if you will render only 10 items at time, you will see white screen on scroll, it is common problem with flatlist)
The best as Always
Well, I'm doing my best to share as much as possible!
@@CatalinMironDev you're doing more than your best 💪, you help a lot 🙏
Thank you
You’re welcome!
Great Video
Glad you enjoyed it
How can I optimize these animations for Android? On android I feel micro stutters and jitter
I am going to take a look. Is this happening for this animation in particular? I have tested it on Android and I couldn’t see this.
@@CatalinMironDev no Im just saying generally
@@RaishmiYoru Don't always assume there is an issue before testing it. Optimise when necessary

Which vs code font you are using
Batman One, font: dank mono
Can you do it with a FlashList?
Not really, layout animations with FlashList are not working as expected
the video was cut off when creating renderItem
It’s done on purpose because you can render anything, the renderItem was just for tutorial purposes and I thought that it was out of this tutorial scope.
Make a WhatsApp like audio sending animation in react native
