Great video sir! Another one point I would like to add is find a standard toe shape for yourself. Try to get a bat with a thick toe and plus if you have a square/rectangular toe it has slightly more chances of breaking than a round toe bat but a square toe feels better when tapping.

Agreed with ur lots of points but some i feel should more clear. As a bat manufacturer mostly on bespoke side i feel now a days big names companies looking for more brand instead of maintaining exiting series with more tech and supervision.

I chose my cricket bat in a very interesting way.
I went to the shop and searched for a leather ball bat with two criterias
1) It has to be light and easy to control
2) It should have a thick hitting edge for power hitting
I checked more than 30 bats and then chose the MRF Genius Grand Edition
Its perfect for me and I have made a lot of centuries with it .

In this era the boundaries are 25% smaller than what it used to be , therefore heavy bat is a disadvantage in all cases

Nah bro all have their own choice if u have that strength you can choose heavy even im playing with a heavy bat and you know what i don't feel any disadvantage but dont forget to knock ur bat..
@@rameshchopraniscricketcoach not mine Since I go by logic and not by a thin line hanging for a balance. Trying playing with 2 kilograms weighted bats and 1150 grams and you would certainly realise the differences
@@unknownbeing1 lighter bat has a advantages when the boundaries are smaller , you get extra fractions of time compared to heavier bat , applying logic for instance if you use 2 kg bat and I use 1100 grams bat , I would certainly get more time to play fast yorkers cut and pulls , however if the boundaries are 75 meters or above it would be very difficult to hit over it compared to 60 meters boundary. In these cases you require heavier bats to clear
