- Hi everyone. It's been a long time coming. I apologize for keeping both artists, animators, and fans and supporters alike for waiting for so long for this to be released. Many of you have left comments in the previous video wondering when it would be finished, while some of you kindly mentioned that you are keeping your determination up until the final product is released (thank you for continuing to believe in this project after 6 years!). In the end, I was unable to fill the missing parts, but I thought at this point, and after so many tries, I needed to release this video. Everyone needed to see the beautiful and mesmerizing parts created by the artists. I'd like to give a big, heartfelt thank you to you all, and especially the animators and artists for doing a wonderful job--this project could not come together without all of you! Thank you for wanting to be a part of this. Thank you to the artists who passionately created multiple parts for the map, whether it was because you wanted to, or because you wanted to do what you could to help fill this project's missing parts (thank you Dusk!). Thank you to the artists who continued to check in even after several years had passed. I am grateful for your patience. If anyone is curious, I've compiled a list of credits here, with some artists accompanied by their tumblr links! If I was able to find you on social media, I updated your social media handle accordingly, especially if they changed since your initial participation. If you're uncomfortable with your social media links attached to your names--please let me know! I'd be happy to change that for you. Likewise, if you changed your handle since then and have participated, feel free to reach out, and I can update your name here, and add a link to your social media if you like! If you'd like to know what happened: to keep it short, it was simply a result of feeling unmotivated for several reasons. One, while Undertale still holds a special place in my heart, I moved on to other interests. Life has also pulled me around in many directions since then. Another big factor was the amount of participants that would join the project, but would remain unreachable as I checked in on their progress. Because this happened repeatedly, and the same parts that were taken were also left behind, I felt very discouraged. I am also at fault here though, for pushing this project off and keeping many of you waiting, and being unable to get to everyone or reply to everyone's messages in a timely manner. I learned a lot about what it means to handle a project like this. I wasn't prepared for the process--I was very disorganized, and lost some important data to time. I apologize to the artists whose parts I could not retrieve even though you worked so hard on them. I've tried to reach out to a few of you, but if you see this video and would still like to add your part to the video, please let me know and I'd be happy to fit them in again!
This project was a whirlwind of both excitement and worry and I felt discouraged many times. Yet, it touched my heart that so many people still believed it would happen. And I think it was those kind SOULs that kept me going. I'm sorry, and thank you once more.

after 7 years of being an undertale fan i can say with confidence that this is the best AU, it's not edgy, it's not sad, it's not redundant, it's just extremely cute and lovely and creative and everyone is in character. undertale AUs are a guilty pleasure but this one i can enjoy in full confidence
Awww this was great! I noticed how many years people have been waiting for this MAP to be completed. I just wanted to say this project was really worth wait! DanceTale is is one of my favorite Undertale AUs❤

Now, I just desperately wish to see someone reenact the first animated dance between Frisk and Sans, a ballerina and a hip-hop/breakdancer dancing together in perfect harmony, like they are both doing the same kind of dance…honestly it’s amazing to me.
Such a “feel good” video, like how you used “better when I’m dancing” to your advantage because it’s DANCEtale.
Was literally just looking through my likes playlist when I saw the og map call and decided to check in to see any updates 😄

Omg this brings back good memories. I actually shed tears throughout the vid. I had wanted to join in on the project but life was hectic....and I was still finding my style but everyone who has worked hard on this project deserves a cookie, and a hug for doing such a huge contribution to the community💕

I found myself smiling way harder than I thought I would. I'm nowhere near as obsessed with Undertale and all its AUs as I was a few years ago, but this really sparked that nostalgia flame, y'know? I'm so happy to see this finished.

Amazing! Dancetale has always been one of my favorite AUs, so it’s delightful that this project has finally seen the daylight! Excellent work on all the animators’ parts!

SO SORRY FOR COMMENTING A THIRD TIME BUT UH- i wanna say- I FRICKING LOVE EVERY SINGLE PARTS THE ANIMATORS SERIOUSLY DID A SUPER COOLIO AND AMAZING JOB ON THEM AAAA I SERIOUSLY LOVE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, AND espescially the parts v0id less, yoralim, kreftropods, michelle, tanitasama, and theres legit SO MANY MORE i didnt mention here- I seriously love their artstyles and animation!! Their parts are so smooth and amazingly done!! And they are also really good espescially michelle, i love that there is scenes of all the dancetale characters or memories of them all!! I love that all of the characters in dancetale got a lil seconds shown!! Because it feels like it adds more to what the universe dancetale is like!! AND OMG TANITASAMA, THAT GRIBBLY IS ON FIREEEEE REALLY!! LOOK AT THOSE MOVESSS!! AAA i love it so much!! I think it really makes a difference kn gribbly in undertale and dancetale!! Really shows the au dancetale!! OVERALL all of the parts are amazing and really contributes or really well done and gives us a view of the AU dancetale! LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!

I notice that the part whenever the CD music part keeps appearing, im guessing that its to fill in the parts for people who couldnt finish it? Im still really grateful that this map is finish!! (Even tho its not all complete!) I randomly remembered this project and decided to check in again. I'm so glad to see that it did get finished! It was so worth it, and I really appreciate all of the artists that joined in and also you for hanging in there and seeing this project through. This brought a huge smile to my face.

Watching this makes me so nostalgic for the innocent optimism of Undertale's early fandom... When we were high on warm-fuzzies & felt like that little game would get us closer to world peace... 🥲 Maybe folx who watch this, who have forgotten about that, can feel it again. So many people seem to have forgotten why they fell in love with Undertale, growing jaded & bitter, & they could really use that sense of hope & kindness again... ❤🩹

I know lots of us (myself included) were having rough times in our lives that may have delayed us from completing our parts, & maybe even communicating. But look how many of us came through in the end! And that investment is finally paying off, because we didn't give up~! 🥲
(If anything, the delay helped me forget how much of a struggle it was to do my part, so now I can watch this whole thing with a more neutral mindset & just enjoy the final result without negative flashbacks, LOL! 😂)
And @teandstars , thank you SO MUCH for having the DETERMINATION to see this through, even though it got so complicated & difficult. Thanks for not giving up on us, even though so many folx strung you along (most likely for understandable reasons; I'm not judging anyone cuz man I took WAY too long for my own entry, but it can't be denied that communication breakdown takes a _major, draining_ toll on project directors). All that having to balance patience vs keeping things moving, seeking replacements vs wondering if the assignee was still silently working on it, the wait (& weight) dragging on for so long with so many parts AWOL... I don't blame you _at all_ for getting discouraged & putting it aside for a while, yourself. You had stress in numbers from multiple directions; people can only take so much of that.
Stepping back into this project's state of heavy limbo, making up your mind, doing what you could & releasing this compilation, even with some (very cute!) placeholders, took major guts. I REALLY appreciate that you worked up the courage & drive to finally see this through. You pulled out of a long-stuck rut, & hauled so many of us with you back onto the road to glory! 🤗

ZaCloud! It's great to see you again, and thank you for coming to see the final product! I enjoyed reading your heartfelt comment, and I was once again reminded of a time when Undertale first came out and so many of us came together and became friends out of love for this game. I made a lot of good friends from it, and I get so nostalgic when I think about it, when I see it, and when I hear the music. While I was putting this together, I watched your part a few times during editing and was always amazed.
Thank you for your kind words--both to the extremely hard working artists and for me. I am grateful for your understanding! And don't worry--I didn't mind at all that any of you were late for submissions or had trouble communicating. I completely understood if some, or even all of you might have been struggling with the business of your own lives. It's hard being an artist, and it's even harder finding motivation and sometimes, the will to finish a piece. In the end, despite everything, I'm glad we pulled through and the project is finally finished. So many people love the video so far, and I hope you're proud! Thank you again for supporting me, and I'm happy you got to be part of this along with everyone else!
