This short film actually makes me so happy! It was beautiful and whimsical, and it made my day. Probably even week. I felt like I was experiencing the story with the duck, excited to see the world with it, curious to see what was behind of each portal. It awakened a nostalgic feeling of childhood; it makes me wonder if I can approach life with the same joy as the starry-eyed duckling. The film was over all too soon. Excuse me, as I re-watch this ten more times!

Keep practicing character design and writing. Watch tutorials and take classes- there are a bunch of free resources on youtube! Make sure you also actively seek criticism! Criticism is key to learning to improve. There's no shortcuts when it comes to stuff like this. I've been drawing for basically my entire life and I still struggle with certain aspects of it. You just have to be patient with yourself and take your time. :)

Ohhhh the little thump when the duck fails to get back up made me tear up, and the abrupt end to the music. Also his little happy dance after leaving door #3 is so cute

I think it's about not being afraid of dreaming big. But acting upon certain dreams and trying to achieve them can land us in bad situations, and that they were not meant for us anyway. But no matter what trouble we find ourselves, we always can climb out of the hole. That's all I got from it.
