    the move at 5:12 i've been looking for now for 29 years they showed it when he retired in 1993. it's one of the sickest moves he ever did. if you look at it he spun the ball around in his hand to gain control of it like you spin the ball on your finger. the only thing is the version i saw was from under the basket. thank you for posting this.

      @@stephenandrews8806 but MJ would always play well not every single game but has more good games than bad ones and honestly Scottie entering the league and they made the next round is off for me cause Scottie was nothing more than a bench player his first season while people forget that MJ was the league MVP that year and faced a team that jordan loved to play against and that was the cavs

    • @stephenandrews8806
      @stephenandrews8806 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sizwed.7579 Scottie was the 5th overall pick in the first round, a far cry from a bench player. The proof is there, LeBron failed against the Mavs. But a Finals record is no indicator of him as a player. Brady choked 3 times in the superbowl, Montana is perfect, so is Montana a better QB that Brad? (Of, course not) he's bigger, faster, has more points, rebounds, assists, playoff points, etc, etc. I get it, people love MJ including myself, and his career isn't even over. What made mike looks like he was floating much longer than everyone else's was his ability to release the ball much later. When you see the peak of his ascend, you'll notice he hasn't released the ball yet. most of his hang time shots the ball was released when he is already going down. Never was a fan of mike but i love watching him delay his jumpshot in the air and the defender attempts to swipe/block but misses, then moments before he touched the ground he fires!

    You often hear commentators say you gotta get someone to block him on the other side.
    It's hard to get two and three players out of your team of only five to stop him everytime he attacks the basket.Even then there's no guarantee you'll stop him from scoring as we can see.

  • @tonywong8134
    @tonywong8134 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    3:12 A lot of people would've lost the ball because they don't have the big hands that he does. Kobe, LeBron, and others couldn't do that since they don't have the big hands that MJ does. Kawhi has hands like MJ but doesn't have the hang time. Same with 5:47. When people talk about the LBJ vs MJ or Kobe vs. MJ, they don't have, IMO, one of the most important tools needed for basketball: big hands. Guys like Tim Duncan, Kareem, Dr.J, Shaq...it makes a world of difference.

    I always hear from today’s kids that MJ’s opponents weren’t as athletic back then. Even though that might be true, generally speaking, it’s such a dumb argument. Not only would MJ dominate in today’s game, but he would be even more lethal (hard to imagine but true)

    • @Bighjr88
      @Bighjr88 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I agree with u bout dominating today or any day. Yes today players are more athletic but they aren’t nearly as skilled as players during that era. But a few players from that era are still once in a lifetime player besides Jordan u had Magic,Larry Legend,Barkley & Dominiqu. I haven’t seen no other player like them since them.

    • @ViRion5

      I totally agreed with you about the millennial saying that but in todays game, i dont see a Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone, Moses Malone, Charles Barkley, David ( the Admiral ) Robinson and so on types. Especially Karl Malone and David Robinsons bodies that were kind of sculpted and muscular. I dont see that nowadays and the ferocious way to play the game. Only the Greek Freak, Zack Lavine and Westbrook have that mentality and play style.
