Fantastic explanation! I was thinking about getting this pedalboard but did not understand how to flip between rigs/songs quickly and without doodling around on the touch screen. This makes it so various tonal rigs would be quickly accessible between songs. Your explanation simplifies all of that.
Also, if you press and hold the far lower button after selecting your setlist, then press the "stomp" button to the right, your setlist is now controlled using the bank buttons to go through your setlist and you'll see all the pedals for each song if you wanted to make changes on the fly.
Hi. Very good video about Headrush..I would be happy to have for my sound tec 😀 I just bought one myself and just start learning about everything in it. For me i need to work with different sounds for different guitars ( pickups ) for different songs. I use 6 guitars for a set of 35 songs and i play alot between Deep Purple to Bon Jovi. Only melodic Rock so no pop. So i feel i can learn some from your experience. Thanks !
use the Hybrid setting that shows when you hold the bank down button in (where he chooses setlist etc) In hybrid, Every song(rig) is on top line and the stamp boxes you can allocate as per the video to the bottom line to turn on and off as you wish. Pretty cool
Thank you very much well done. I have one of these but haven't used it much because I have been playing bass for so long now. Your video has encouraged me to hook this up again and play with it more in depth, thank you so much appreciate your work.
Thanks for the great info! Can you change the order of set list? Example; move alright now to song number one, run like he!! to number two etc. Then all you would have to do is bank up one time to next song on list and not leave stomp mode? Thanks again for the info!
Sounds better is always preference and there for subjective, but in saying that I think the headrush sounds better but im used to hearing tube amp and analog pedal boards so that's what me ear is trained for and in saying that I can objectively hear the difference and to me the headrush is better sounding and easier to use for music performance and practice sessions have gotten rather faster than screwing with settings you're doing more music than editing !
Hello and thank you for this video! Is it possible to include within the 'scenes' or 'set lists', a WAV sample to trigger during a live show? So that when you select the song and open up the individual pedal access for each footswitch, can there be a switch to play the siren in War Pigs and route only that signal to a PA or amp?
I love your videos. I learn so much. I have the HeadRush and I love it. I have limited knowledge on how to get the right sounds. Can you do a video in how to get the patches to sound good? Like malonic patches for instance? what pedals should I use to get the sound to play Hotel California ECT?
Hotel California set up is complicated. If you are going to play “12 string” part, then Felder’s, then Walsh’s, then back to Felder, etc, you need to set up 3 different scenes within the rig, label them as “12 String”, “Felder”, and “Walsh” (or whatever you want) and you’re set.
Can you show how to set up the headrush to change amp channels? I want to use it for effects with my mesa roadking but I want to use the amps channels.
Hello!! Can you send those song specific guitar tones to me? I’ll pay you. I’d rather not sit there and try to dial in the tone myself. I’m assuming that’s what you must do right? I just got the mx5 and I play a lot of the same songs you have listed in your set list.
The set list function is useless if you don't use a set list....like me. It also becomes useless if you use a set list that isn't working in the room you're in and you have to deviate from it.
This video never got to the point....... great, you can create a setlist..... terrific. At no point did you take the HeadRush out of pick a song mode, and into "uh, now you're playing live and actually have to use the pedals in rig" mode.
Terrific demonstration of this feature! Wish I had found you months ago when I was struggling to figure this out. Keep these Headrush videos coming.

Very helpful. Just got my Headrush a couple days ago and I'm learning how to use it. This was great!
Do you share your songs setups? I would love to get a copy!! Such a great listing of songs!
The setlist and ease of use is why I bought this unit. NO REGRETS!
fatherof3kidz very true!
Thanks for the great video. Are you able to save scenes within a song?
Great video!!!! Is it possible to create scenes within a song?
Thanks for this detailed tutorial on using setlists!
Also, if you press and hold the far lower button after selecting your setlist, then press the "stomp" button to the right, your setlist is now controlled using the bank buttons to go through your setlist and you'll see all the pedals for each song if you wanted to make changes on the fly.
That's what I was wondering. If you could select new rig in the setlist with your feet. That's awesome. No bending over.
That's great !

how do you change between songs quickly with a view that shows the stomp boxes and not just the song presets? just rig up and down?
Great video! Is it possible to switch on or off particular effects in a song? e.g. switch on compressor during solo. Thanks in advance.
Thomas Eckert yes

Thank you great video.
Do you know if it is possible to save a rig directly to a setlist from within the rig, thanks
Yes. When you're in a setlist just create a new rig
Thank you very much well done. I have one of these but haven't used it much because I have been playing bass for so long now. Your video has encouraged me to hook this up again and play with it more in depth, thank you so much appreciate your work.
Great! Thanks for watching
You know these things are great for bass guitar too right !??!

Yes you can do this.
Hi I really enjoy your videos. I have a question for you, have you tried the Line 6 Helix Floor? If so, which Pedalboard sounds better?
Sounds better is always preference and there for subjective, but in saying that I think the headrush sounds better but im used to hearing tube amp and analog pedal boards so that's what me ear is trained for and in saying that I can objectively hear the difference and to me the headrush is better sounding and easier to use for music performance and practice sessions have gotten rather faster than screwing with settings you're doing more music than editing !
Any chance you share your set list of programmed tones? I'd love to learn to play a bunch of those tunes...
great video. You just made me a Headrush owner .) Thanx.
Glad I could help!
Really cool unit. How do the effects sound? Quality of sound? Demo? Really interested
David Flint just buy one mate, you won't regret it, it's an awesome bit of kit!
Sounds amazing.
The effects are very good ! Like great sounding recordings too !

How to change set list for next song with foot switch ? Which I created ? I can’t change .
"All Right Now" was actually by Free, not Bad Company. Same singer though :)
Probably why I get them mixed up all the time. Thanks for the clarification.
And drummer ;)
Can you show how to set up the headrush to change amp channels? I want to use it for effects with my mesa roadking but I want to use the amps channels.
Just don't use a roadking, this thing doesn't need a guitar amp.
@@UmVtCg what kind of snarky answer is that !??!
I'm thinking you should stop the internet right away !
I think the gig board does that.
If your amp has midi its doable
Can you do this with the gigboard version too? Or obviously you can but I'm I right in saying you can only use 4 Fx's at a time?. Thanks
Is there an easy way to normalize the volume across all the different presets or do you just have to do it manually?
Peter Griffiths you can use the master volume but it’s best to do it individually
How do you switch from Expression Pedal A to Expression Pedal B?
I just bought one but didn't realize it has a limited amount of effects. Do you think more effects will be out in particular drive pedals?
THE HUMBLED GENTILE yes as a matter of fact they just announced an update to the firmware that does just that.

Hi I no longer have the unit. Sorry
Awesome
How do i save and find my sounds live?
How to change songs order within a setlist?
The set list function is useless if you don't use a set list....like me. It also becomes useless if you use a set list that isn't working in the room you're in and you have to deviate from it.
Not really, you can still select whatever patch you want.
First world problems
Free not Bad Company lol
Yes, that is what I meant to say. Thanks for watching
Don't really buy into set list , the implication is you have the same sound all the way through all the songs, which is pretty dull performance.
This video never got to the point....... great, you can create a setlist..... terrific. At no point did you take the HeadRush out of pick a song mode, and into "uh, now you're playing live and actually have to use the pedals in rig" mode.
The point of the video was how to create setlists. Thanks for watching.
Good video. Thank you so much.
Good stuff. Thank you very much
