Morocco gardens are food for the soul, I wish Morocco people would have show their gardens... they have the real spirit, the happy garden... I celebrate European people enjoy and keep them, but the real spirit is with the Morocco people

It's a european show of course they will try to put the European falaire into everything. This tradition and know-how is purely Moroccan and there is plenty of Moroccan owned and built gardens. These are just the few that had European investors, the builders are Moroccan anyway. The investors just brought money ...

Wonderful and magnificent Moroccan gardens! Although some of the wording is quite misleading. Gardens and breathtaking architecture is a very special part of Moroccan culture and it is great that people from the European continent come and appreciate this and design their own, but these gardens origins are very much rooted in Moroccan culture and civilisation. There are thousands more beautiful gardens and riads designed, built and maintained by Moroccans across Morocco that should also be showcased!

Thank you for this Amazing project!
You are helping this community n sane world of ours by showing the true value and dedication and potential that can be achieved with love of nature. Thank you to each and everyone who participated in this experience.
There are those critics of anything they can’t have been a part of or jealous of others who sought their Sanctuary and were led to their own adventure and life in a their adopted country. One can see first hand how the amazing peoples of Morocco and the hand of God and yes, wealthy artists, entrepreneurs and writers and half-casts from Europe and elsewhere came to these magical lands as toddlers and children…they were shown so much love and respect for their home away from home that they many moons later found themselves called to return.
Can we not be grateful for what has been achieved instead of being critical! Humility is demonstrated by those interviewed…and love of people and land and peace and respect for what has been given to them. REJOICE, BE GLAD 🙏🏼🩵💛

An enchanting look at the Berber past & the Islamic influence welded on it resulting on the rich mélange we se today. This comment is coming from the far southern tip of Africa also washed by the cold Atlantic ocean and instead of the Mediterranean the warm waters of the Indian ocean, the Cape of Good Hope, also with its Islamic influences mainly from Java Indonesia Malaysia & the Middle east, richly contributing to our shared culture.
One word of criticism is the non offensive wording used to encapsulate the ex Andalusians living in Morocco described as having being expelled by the Christian conquerors. Technically of course it was the reconquest of a previously Christian territory conquered by the Muslims. All details are on the Internet for the historically minded. This was the spark which resulted in the Latin America, Mexico which we see today.

Many of these gardens look exactly like what you find in Mexican and Mexican American homes with bougainvillea, cactus, agaves, and cannas! I don't think spiny cactus is something usually implemented in an Islamic garden because they look harsh/dangerous and it's not representative of Paradise? I'm not sure if we see lots of spiny cactus here because these gardens are designed by Europeans. The last garden was amazing.

Well, right from the beginning this presenter should have said (at the very least) that this garden was a collaboration between Moroccans and Europeans. Obviously, ALL the motifs, designs, fountains, and structures are Moroccan, Islamic/&/or Arabic, North African/& Middle Eastern-inspired art forms.

Correction. Islam dictates every facet of existence, lifestyle food, clothing, dress codes, hygiene, architecture, politics & religion . Why can't Westerners bend their minds outside of their liberal bubble culture. Oy, oy. so simple.😈
Btw way the turreted walls are eerily reminiscent of the crusader castle structures erected during their attempts 1095 - 1291, to wrest the holy city of Jerusalem back from the Muslim occupiers

Im shocjed by the opening sentences here, who ever wrote this needs to do some research into moorish , and islamic culture from which the aesthetics of these gardens emerge.

These are Moroccan gardens commissioned by Europeans and not what is implied by the countless references to "Europeans" by the narrator. Sad the effort to appropriate and deny the very people and traditions that have actually inspired you to actually create the gardens. Ofcourse the owners are Europeans and there is in some of the cases European input , flowers, etc, but the commentary spoilt to some extent of what is a beautiful video of Moroccan gardens.
