For the people who would like to know who the owner of this 'song' is it's STEPHEN CLAYTON. He wrote this poem back in the early 90's. My sisters and I have he's original poem book because we're he's daughters. Our family doesn't appreciate seeing all these people knocking off he's work (which is copyrighted by the way) and claim it for their own!
Goodonya Jade... It could be said that it is a tribute to the writer that these others wish to do covers of your fathers work. They should of course acknowledge the origin when they do that. It's a beautiful song and my favourite rendition is by Roger Knox
