Hello John! I just made these coffee squares and YES they are addicting. Wanted you to know how awesome they are. I enjoy your channel very much! Aim High!!
Did a batch of these and WOW, I ate the equivalency of 4 cups of coffee and have a good Folgers buzz going lol, on the bright side... my trim and corner round finally got cleaned. Thank you for the idea.
I made these with a few alterations - I used fresh, full fat goat milk, and I added a little Kahlua to the coffee milk (after it cooled) before adding to the whipped cream (instead of cool whip). They were unbelievably good!!! thank you for the recipe!!
im new to freeze drying, i started 2 weeks ago. i tried a couple of your recipes and so far everything was awesome, especially these coffe squares. thanks for sharing John.
I just ordered my freeze dried earlier this week. Tracy Barber got me on your videos and I am so glad she did! Getting so much inspiration from you! Thank you!
These look amazing! I love the coffee Cafe Bustelo. My favorite coffee style drinks are Cafe Con Leche and Colada. Colada is most like espresso and it is my favorite. I make a terrific combination of the two, and it seems to be a lot like your own. I get a pint bottle of milk, heat it up in the microwave, not sizzling hot! I put in about 2.5 tsp of the Cafe Bustelo Instant. I will add 2 or 3 packs of artificial sweetener (I used to use real sugar). I shake it up and take it with me to work. I declare it is amazing stuff. LOL. This idea of yours is going on my list! Thanks a lot! 😊👍 ~~Sharon
Thank you for sharing. I will definitely give this recipe a try with a few tweaks. Instead of whip cream maybe icecream. Also maybe with kahlua or bourbon.
John, I'm going to try using my coffee, FD it and then use it here. LOL I use a mocha pot so it is pretty intense anyway. (Yes, I am going through all your videos a 2nd time. LOL)
Have you ever had that dessert that has a graham cracker crust, then a layer of pudding mixed with cream cheese, then topped with whipped cream? I bet that would be nice free dried. If you google "chocolate delight dessert" you'll find it. It's really good with banana pudding too.
well hello. I have these in my freeze dryer right now. can you tell me why the extra creamy cool whip never didn't freeze? How am I supposed to package them? I also have the pumpkin spice treats in the freeze dryer. same problem with the cool whip.
I am just heading out the door for work but didn't want you to think I was ignoring your question. I will leave an affiliate link in this comment for my Amazon store, these are the brown ones in my store. In the video I used pink which I picked up at Hobby Lobby and they are the same size I think they were a little cheaper than Amazon as well. www.amazon.com/shop/johninbibs

You have me rolling, just picturing you running around on a caffeine high.

Did you add any sugar?
@@ambrosemclaren145 No I didn't as there was enough sweetness in the whipped cream and in the Kahlua.
@@oldbird4210 Thanks. Kahlua should add enough sweetness. :) They sound delish!
I’m a Air Force brat. I loved it
You do great with words John! You are a blessing.

Thank you and enjoy your new adventure!
Thank you for your service! 🇺🇸
These look amazing. 😋
Try using a big plastic syringe to add your coffee to the molds or a Turkey baister 😋
I've made pumpkin puree using fresh pumpkins. I added pure maple syrup, butter, pumpkin spices, pecans, and oatmeal. It's so good.

Thank you, Tracy runs a fantastic group on FB facebook.com/groups/244299250021556
@@JohnInBibs you're very welcome! I am a member of the group already, and love it!
Gonna try these too. Got the ingredients in my cart now to pickup in a day or so. Also, thank you for your service John. I appreciate you.
I like your taste, you picked two of my favorite recipes!
These sound amazing. I put them next on my list! Thanks, John
Thanks, you will not be disappointed!

Make lots, they are addictive. You will not be disappointed.
@@JohnInBibs I just took 2 trays of 'Jib's milky coffee' out of the fd & you were right, it's da bomb!
@@victoriabell4436 So happy to hear this
thanks for sharing, I can't wait to try these!!
Thank you, I am working on post production of my next video. It is Pumpkin Spice Latte Treats. Same principle as these and they are delicious
I may have missed it but is your secret ingredient the whipped cream in place of the sugar you used in England?
well hello. I have these in my freeze dryer right now. can you tell me why the extra creamy cool whip never didn't freeze? How am I supposed to package them? I also have the pumpkin spice treats in the freeze dryer. same problem with the cool whip.
I just checked the pumkin spice latte, the cool whip dry did but they still have an ice ball in the center, back in for 2 more hrs.
Problem solved?
John in Bibs! You are awesome! Lovin' this. Is the silicone mold a Wilton? What are dimensions? I am going to get some of these. God bless you!

Where did you buy this silicone tray? Ha you just answered my question. Hobby Lobby.
Old Foggy! That makes two of us.
LOL
Hello did you freeze dry those in the little trays? I enjoy your videos thank you.
Yes I did
Was it completely dry at 205 mtorr? Seems high but I have not tried this...yet.
Yes it was
Where did you get your little metal trays?
On Amazon. I am at work now. I will post a link when I get a chance

Hi John. What percent milk do you use?
2%
I put a batch of eggnog bites and coffee bites in the FD 32 hours ago. They are still "drying". This is taking longer than expected. Are they okay?
The machine says 714 mTorr
Sounds right, there is a lot of liquid in the bites.
But yours were done in 25 hours and mine are half the size???
I don't know what to say, with this additional info something sounds amiss. Especially if you put in less then I did.
My husband doesn’t like that brand of coffee can I do a Starbucks brand instead ? Love you videos by the way !
Yes by all means use your favorite coffee! Thanks for watching
Just say you will lose your mind......
