My 3 favorite phrases from this video- 1- "Varsayalım" (literally, "Let's see if it's possible/if it's there) - sounds more pro-active + more unique vs. "hayde, bakalım!" 2- "Kazasız, belasız (olsun?)" - wishing someone a journey without troubles or accidents is more poetic than "iyi tatiller" 3- "İyi günlerde kullan!" - a more affectionate way to say "güle güle kullan" - because you're wishing someone to use their purchase in/for better days/good times - not just with smile/laughter. Is there a phrase book with these poetic kind of well wishes in Turkish?
gerçekten orta seviyelere gelince türkçe dil kanallarına yönelmek daha mantıklı, en azından ingilizce için. çünkü türkçe düşünmeyi kafamdan tam olarak atamadım ve konuşurken bazı zorluklar yaşıyordum, mesela sizin öğrettiğiniz acaba gibi... o yüzden sizi izlemek ingilizcemi diğer kanallara göre daha çok ilerletiyor. çok teşekkürler :))
Bunu duymak beni sevindirdi. Dil ogrenmeyi zevkli hale getirmezseniz, size iyi gelen seyleri yapmazsaniz olmaz zaten. Bu videolar isinize yariyorsa o zaman devam edin. Onemli olan ogreniyor olmaniz, nereden ogrendiginizin onemi yok.
My fav phrases of the day are Bakalım ( because i don't want to let down the person with rude accent), tam benlik ( because I observed so much which is best for me ), hiç işim olmaz(because I'm not much desiring person ) . The second part of the assignment is : I learn through so many ways like i watch Turkish series , movies, or dramas with subtitles to under the accent , i listen turkish songs also I used duolingo app , i talked to my Turkish friends through call and messages in order to improve my Turkish . The last but not least I learn through the channel of my beautiful and kind teacher Muki ♥️

3 ways I practice Turkish: 1- 🎼Translate a Turkish song and upload the lyrics to www.LyricsTranslate.com (videos/translations) or www.LyricsTraining.com (a singing/fill-in-the-blank game). Songs are catchy, poetic and often have slang I wouldn't use otherwise. 2- ✏Carry a swatch of 3x5" un-ruled index cards, folded in half, with 1 side for English and the other for the Turkish translation (hole punch 1 corner, fasten together with a binder ring or safety pin). Each index card represents a different part of speech or grammatical category to help separate these language building blocks in my mind + to see at-a-glance if I need to learn more adjectives etc. I keep the swatch in a plastic ziplock bag in my purse and try to add to it whenever I hear/read Turkish. 3- 💯Write practice sentences with new words 3x for memory. I use www.WordReference.com, www.TurEng.com and Manisa Turkish for translation help mostly. All available as a Chrome extension button for your browser and as a phone app.
1. Bakarız 2. Bakalım 3. Acaba 4. Varsayalım 5. Kazasız belasız 6. Sıkıntı yok 7. Tam senlik- Tam benlik 8. Iyi günlerde kullan-ın 9. Ya 10. Hiç işim olmaz Ders için çok teşekkürler. Çok severim videolarınızı. Yeni kelimeler çok iyi geldi. Varsayalım, kazasız belasız ,tam senlik ve hiç işim olmaz bilmiyordum ama bundan sonra sık sık kullanacağım. Hi Mulki, after watching ertugul I decided to learn Turkish . Your videos are very helpful . Still in beginning level. May the almighty bless you for these wonderful classes.
Bakalim , sikinti yok, hiç isim olmaz. My one source of improving turkish is by watching turkish series as of the moment I love watching Babil. And i love it . Çok tesekkür ederim.
Hic Isim Olmaz Kazasiz belasiz Bakariz For learning Turkish, I watch Turkish series and listen to Turkish song. I also have a tutor from Verbling. I m an Afghan American, speak both English and Farsi. By knowing Farsi, it makes it easier to learn Turkish. You are an amazing teacher and I love your channel!
I love how you teach people how to speak Turkish! I wanna add something on "ya", you can also use it by itself while listening something very interesting. Like you are with your friends and one of them is telling you very interesting things. You just look at them and say "yaa". More like "oh really?". Or you can use it with sarcasm. You can use the same "yaa" when you are not interested at all!
Öncelikle, bu videonu çok beğendim, hocam. Ben venezuela'lıyım ve 4 seneden beri türkçe öğrenmeye çalışıyorum ama daha olmadı, hocam. Deniyorum bari. Tamam. En sevdiğim ifadeler: 1) bakarız 2) tam senlik /benlik. 3) hiç işim olmaz (actually I didn't know about this one) Nereden türkçe öğreniyorum: 1) aslında Turkiye'de yaşıyorum ve eşim türk ama biz genelde evde ıngilizce konuşuyoruz. O yüzden biraz türkçe konuşmak zor oldu. Bir de çünkü şuanda çalışmıyorum (ingilizce öğretmeniyim ) ..hep evdeyim...öğrenmem öyle... 2) oğlum türkçe konuşmaya başladı. Ondan ben de öğreniyorum. 3) artık senin buldum ve senin videolarından çok hoşlanıyorum. . . Hayırlı olsun.
Indeed, Michele. What particularly do you find interesting about Turkish? It is always good for me to understand what the learners think about the language. You guys provide the best insights to a teacher like me.
@@LearnTurkishwithMuki Turkish is just a lot different from the other languages I've studied. The sentence structure is so different than English, but I think I can do it! I recently found some Turkish tv shows and Istanbul looks really beautiful! I'm hoping to meet a native speaker some day, at least online.
@@michellebates528 You're absolutely right. The word order is different but just like me being a native Turkish and a non-native English speaker, it gets easier as you work at it. This is great Muki, çok teşekkürler ! My three favourites: Bakarız - we shall see Acaba - I wonder, just wondering Problem değil - no problem Watching Netflix Türkiye is one way to improve.
Hic isim olmaz, bakalim, dert degil - those are my favourites. I practice by watching Turkish TV series - I am totally in love with Ufak Tefek Cinayetler :) I also hear Istanbul FM a lot.

"tam senlik" and I wonder can we use it to describe a person to be perfect for someone? To improve my Turkish, I use short videos of parts of songs or soap operas with Turkish and English or Arabic subtitles posted on Instagram.
I loved these phrases (1-ya,2-kazasin balasin,3-acaba) And i watched all the videos in your channel always writing down every single information and I’m about to improve my turkish with songs ☺️
First: my favourite phrase is acaba , ya , bakalım Second: to improve my turkish i am watching so many turkish series I love turkish language , turkish people and turkish series too❣ You are doing Great job love from pakistan🇵🇰🇵🇰

Hello Ms Muki I am an Indian National just moved to Turkey Istanbul almost 2 months ago. I have started to learn Turkish Lanugage through youtube channel. and let me be honest your presentation skill of the topic are very interesting. The Three pharses i would pratice is BOSVER - CANIN SAGOLSUN - BAKALIM .
Loved your class, Muki. I have seen most of these expressions used in the serials. I watch these serials with English subtitles and hear them speaking, so that I familiarize myself the language. I find turkish language, it's expressions and culture so similar to ours India, that it's easy to join the dots and get the meaning. Plus the languages from both the countries share approx 50,000 words too.
Çok teşekkürler öğretmen. . Ben türkçe öğreniyorum diziden ve seninde you explain very well and I inderstand every thing thanks a lot .. te most phrase that I love in this video is .. yaaaa 😂😂 and tam benlik .. 🌹🌷
Im looking to learn Turkish. My boyfriend is Turk and just bought a villa in Kas. We will be moving there from California so I really need to learn the language.
3 phrases I want to use more often: Bakalım, Acaba, and Tam benlik. Things I do to learn turkish are listen to different language apps, take your course, have tutoring with another teacher, listen to Turkish music, watch youtube videos and some times watch live turkish tv and drama 😊
Actually I watch Turkish serials and I learned a bit from them.Even my reason for learning Turkish is to be able to watch those serials also which doesn't have English subtitles. And also I want to go to and may be settle there so thats Why I m learning.By the way you are so beautiful Muki Hannam.
Hi. Thank you for creating these kind of learning videos, its easy to grasp for people like me who wants to understand how to use the words and phrases properly. In this video, my 3 favorite words/ phrases are : acaba, bakalim, ve kazasiz belasiz. I compiled my favorite songs thru my Spotify playlist, and downloaded the lytics w/ english translations, and its on repeat.😊 , I also watch dizis and films repeatedly, watch out for words, look up its meaning, and when Im feeling brave, I try to remove the subtitles, and then write the Turkish words that I understand, to see if I can at least grap the gist of whatever the character is saying.. I started following anything Turkish in IG, read thru the captions.. And of course, watch videos like this one. Oh, I also have Duolingo which I practice on everyday... I recently downloaded an ebook, kürk Mantolu Madonna too.
Sen video çok guzel Muki Mam . I loved it . Glad that i found your channel and a good teacher like you sweet and beautifull with full of knowledge . Waiting for the next part Teşekkür ederim
Problem Degil Afiyet Olsun Umarim I like to improve my Turkish with a PDF called Teach yourself Turkish and I also love to translate music and watch Erkesi Kus :)
Acaba - because it is easy to memorise Ya, n'apiyo'sun - as i've heard it severally Git isine ya - as i really like the meaning of it😂😂 I watch turkish drama series to improve my Turkish. [but the truth is I'm into learn turkish because I'm watching a turkish drama series.] I think it is a really good way to see how the words I'm learning are using in daytoday life.
1.sorun degil- no prblm 2.bakalim-let's see 3.acaba-i wonder I learned some of the Turkish by the series Drillis Ertugrul. Bcz of tht series I started learning Turkish language..!..
Favorite phrases: acaba, sorun değıl, kasasız belasız. Resources: watching Turkish shows (Erkenci Kuş, Bay Yanlis, No. 309, etc.), apps (MemRise, Language Transfer, Transparent Language), TH-cam channels (Muki's, Turkishle, LearnTurkishvia, others), look up words and phrases that I hear in series and don't know yet.
I can’t thank you enough. They are very interesting and useful. As you asked for which material we are using to learn Turkish, I am using Turkish book (which you can find it online) Colloquial Turkish, The complete courses for beginners. This book helps me to understand the sentence structure which we need to know as a foundation of Turkish language. BTW, Turkish Language sounds melodic to me!
Learn Turkish with Muki affdasınız, ben sorum var! I’m watching Turkish Series (kıralık Aşk), they speak too fast and it’s quite upsetting because I can’t follow them. Do you possibly know any TV program that is suitable for beginners somehow? Çok teşekkür ederim 🙏😌
It feels fast to you, but watch it with subtitles in a language you know well. As a beginner, you need subtitles when you watch content made for native or advanced speakers.
@@mikesh8975 Cok iyi anliyorum. I always feel impatient when I am super excited about something but still a beginner. The key here is to recognize the intensity of your desire and embrace it fully. Kazasız belasız Bakalım Sıkınt yok Because I heard it a lot from İbrahim Çelikkol in siyah beyaz aşk my favourit tv show ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love turkish series I saw a lot of them and really I learned some phrases like efendim, neyse, maalesef which is the word same in arabic "مع الأسف", boşver, canım, aferin, yazık, afiyet olsun, buyurun, bakar mısın and many other things

The Three pharses i would pratice is BOSVER - CANIN SAGOLSUN - BAKALIM .
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS PEASE CONTINUE TO POSTTTT
Loved your class, Muki. I have seen most of these expressions used in the serials. I watch these serials with English subtitles and hear them speaking, so that I familiarize myself the language.
I find turkish language, it's expressions and culture so similar to ours India, that it's easy to join the dots and get the meaning. Plus the languages from both the countries share approx 50,000 words too.

Kazasiz belasiz, acaba and bakalım are my favourite. I love to use them .

Iyi bir kitap. Kolay gelsin.
Learn Turkish with Muki I’m doing that now with English subtitle. I feel like I’m impatient, Neyse! Çok teşekkürler!
@@mikesh8975 Cok iyi anliyorum. I always feel impatient when I am super excited about something but still a beginner. The key here is to recognize the intensity of your desire and embrace it fully. We need motivated people like you learning Turkish. Motivation and persistence are two key determiners of successful language learners. Keep pushing, keep learning and keep asking good questions.
