In March 2017, Managing Partner of the Institute of Trading and Portfolio Management, Anton Kreil, interviewed Senior Trading Mentor Hichem Djouhri in London on his career in the financial markets and his experiences teaching and mentoring Retail Traders through the Institute.
Seems like a highly intelligent guy. Very eloquently spoken, great interview.
They say intelligence isn’t a huge factor in trading, but when your IQ is off the charts, it certainly doesn’t hurt.

Great interview! The Mobily incident was one of a kind in the region. A clear misstatement and negligence from the company’s management resulted in a huge sell off on the Saudi stock exchange. The insurers paid the claim up to USD 50m to compensate the main shareholders. Despite the restatement of the earnings the chart never bounced back and it’s still struggeling.
Good interview. Very fortunate to be in a market that is 70% retail.

Very good strategy that when the oil prices drop, first go long with the oil related entities because of their dependance and expendable growth because of the low oil prices, and then short them as well as a lagging indicator if the market works out. Supply & Demand. Did I miss the point?

Arabians are very smart at maths and numbers. When they are short of oil resources, they would find their way out and probably join the international trading markets and become strong opponents of the West.

It seems like you gotta have skin in the game. So, start trading your mobey, build a portfolio and show them how you grew yiur investment over a period of time.

Hi , cheers for the video really, am i too old at 34 to start a career in finance " asset management ", meaning will i still be recognized and considered after graduation by employers i am considering doing a Master in 1 year? thanks a lot for your response
Why should your age go against you. 34 is still nothing in age. There are ppl who change degrees or careers in their 40s 50s and 60s. It all depends on whats prudent. If your goal is money accumulation or following a passion you have to balance this according to whats possible.

Andey Silva Fundamentals is something completely different than news ;)
There are channels available to use for fundamentals you have to know where to look depending on your interests in the market
Apply a Top-down approach. IPTM course give you a formal and systematic framework for picking certain assets before they hot the news.
