One tip for those looking to get the moonlight great sword, let Seath destroy his own crystal, and while he staggers, rush all the way to his butt, it’s just enough time to make the sprint.
Honestly, it’s probably the easiest. I got it accidentally since cutting off the tails of bosses was a pretty frequent thing in the game. Elden Ring’s version needs a gigantic questline to go through, including multiple locations exclusively for progressing it.
Durability in the Souls series is something I will NEVER miss, I'm so glad they finally just got rid of it as the FP system is just better, even for spells. I also love whenever they give you the chance to use the Moonlight Greatsword (Darkmoon Greatsword) before the very end if the game, like in Demon's Souls and Elden Ring.
If I remember correctly during DS2 they basically made durability a useless stat because it was being affected by peoples frame rate, making it go down faster then it should have. The only reason they didn't get rid of it completely was because of the Santier's Spear requiring you to break it.
@@_BBAGG_ Okay, let me explain... So in Dark Souls 1, before they had an FP system, special attacks from Dragon Weapons like the Moonlight Greatsword used up durability. This was the same in Dark Souls 2. So, when I said the FP system is better for that, that's what I meant.
@@Rezuvious As I recall, Dark Souls 2 had durability get restored when you sat at Bonfires, but to balance this feature, they gave either every weapon incredibly low durability or durability damage was just more severe. There was also a multitude of attacks, spells and hazards that would specifically target your gear's durability. As a result, I had more armor, shields, weapons and even RINGS break in Dark Souls 2 than any other game in the franchise. It was a massive over-correction for something they ultimately just removed in Elden Ring entirely.
@@Gakusangi I know that, I'm saying that DS3 had both, so you can't say one replaced the other. DS3 was the game that introduced weapon arts to every weapon which is why it had a magic Meter, but weapons with special strong attacks like the Moonlight Greatsword still used extra durability when doing their special strong attack. Elden Ring completely removed durability while keeping special strong attacks, for example look at the Wing of Astel and Bloodfriends arm, the special strong attack is unrelated to their weapon art
One of the few bosses that is easier only on the initial encounter. Also associating all moonlight greatswords with Ranni is funny to me, someone who played all the souls games in release order.
moonlight greatsword is recurring legendary weapon in fromsoft games. In elden ring moonlight greatsword is given to you after you finish ranni the witch questline, and boobi likes ranni alot.
It's basically a reaccuring thing, and ranni, the witch, gives you it at the end of her quest... though i believe it's called the dark moons, great sword or something but ehh
She has a zweihander in hand, so almost certainly yes. Unlike in elden ring you can't freely change the scaling of a weapon to a different stat. That said, in the most memed/well known Dark Souls 1 zweihander build, you only get 16 (fucking) strength to barely 2 hand it, and then swap it to Chaos, which negates all stat scaling and instead makes it scale off your humanity counter.
"I'm not going to get it if I can't use it."
"It's Ranni's."
"Give it to me now."
With her small baby hands, she wields a Great-sword
Biboo: ahhhh ahh ah… you were at my side.. aaallll along… my true mentor my *GUIDING MOONLIGHT* .
We’ll get there someday
Didn't she already get the perms, give her a couple of days, or week.
Seath the Scaleless❌
Seath the Tailless✔
0:45
She gets roll caught on the sweep and juggled backwards into the overhead tentacle slap. Absolutely annihilated

at least she'll have an easy time in demon's souls
The Easter egg of the legendary moonlight great sword never die
This is probably the hardest incarnation of the MLGS to get, at least in the Souls series. Lingering hitboxes are no joke.
Ds3's isnt a joke ad well
I think Bloodborne tops it for being under a dlc

DS2 fake one was way harder to me
Demon's Souls was the best, everyone forgets you COULDNT BLOCK IT and was a literal REVELATION FROM GOD

Durability had nothing to do with the FP System, DS3 had both weapon Durability and FP

We don't need the rumbling because Biboo's brainrot already did the rumbling xD
Congrats for Biboo! She got the waifu's sword!
The cut off the tail thing for a cool weapon was always a pain for me, only reason kalameet was difficult for me
My first soulsborne game was bloodborne so I always remember it as guiding moonlight.
Moon wife Greatsword moment indeed….
2:44 Gosh , her scream voice so much CUTEEEE 😭😭😭😭
I really miss cutting off tails for a secret weapon in Dark Souls. It's such a shame they didn't keep that up in later games.
0:47 how in the world did seath do that much damage? Is it because she got caught in a roll?
Now that I looked at it in slow motion, she actually got hit by two tails, each doing damage to her.
Yup. The small tail roll-caught her, and threw her into the big tail.
While I appreciate that the guy had to force her to get it, I think her reaction would’ve been better if she didn’t know what she was getting 😂
Pretty impressed, both Seath and Kalameet's tails are not fun to cut.
Biboo should play Bloodborne DLC
1:12 trying the super mario strategy from 64 eh 😏

What about kings field
3:00 Why the hell does she sound like the dwarf in the flask from fullmetal alchemist when he's being dragged through the portal rofl
Being around you is like a constant Party 🥳 🎉 ✨️ 🎶 💕
I dont know why but her fan nsfw artist made her so lewd
any captain can provide lore?
She likes the sword when play elden ring Ranni(the Waifu) give you the sword

I see. I dont play souls games, so thanks for the context!

So is Biboo running a STR build? Cause now that I looked it up, it favors INT builds.

Wife :D
She gonna respec to use it?
Dark Souls 1 doesn’t allow respec, unfortunately.
Bald Oobib
Nah bro all the moonlights now being associated with that blue beep 😭
