In this episode of VICE Sports Guide to Pro Golf, we learn the ins and outs of a tour truck staff's duties during a tournament and their unique relationship with the players.

This guy Kevin is a prince of a man. He parked in our lot for a few days before heading down to Riviera from San Francisco. He gave me a nice tour of the truck and while I was there, he gave me a dozen of Brandon Grace's custom Golf Pride grips, just cuz. This guy has a reason to be so cool....what a job! I've never been jealous of other guys' jobs...until I met Kevin Napier

That was totally cool. My first watch. Probably some production commitments, but you should do more. What's in the bag with individual players. Some analysis with shafts and clubs etc.

@@limitbassfishing2733 yea because a guy that spends almost his entire year away from his family to provide, took the time to get his CDL, drives a big rig almost 40,000 miles a year and then after he finishes driving works building clubs and dealing with pro athletes which if you havent done before is a huge pain in the a-s, sounds like a pompous, privileged douche to me. if he was privileged douche i highly doubt he would be driving a big rig then go right to another job

2:18 in I want to learn your job i’m trying so hard not to buy your club because it presents class a different driver and I’m still looking at your club as for a driver i’m always buying a preowned five years old and I got a big Bertha from 04 it’s still out hits but I’m taking a good swipe at it and hitting 3 yards further if 5 I still go wow 9.
I wish the equipment was cheaper, but the cost is such a barrier to participation. It's not like other sports that just require a single ball and some friends to have a good time.
The shafts Danny tested retail for $400 apiece. Just the shaft.
You don't need to spend that kind of cash on bespoke gear to put together a decent game. Discount warehouse stores and off-the-rack sticks work fine for us Regular Joes.
Agreed! It should only be a problem with people have that champagne taste on a beer budget.
Alternatively you can grab top of the line gear that's a couple years old for a heck of a lot cheaper than the current years' model

I play with my dad's 35 year old Tommy Armour irons. Probably would get a bit more consistency with a modern set, but those things are soooo well balanced it's almost not worth it.
It is cheap. Buy used. The technology has gone nowhere in years. Its mostly all the same.

They choose people based on their attributes, why should they make a diverse staff if they will suffer in know how. They choose people based on what they know and how good they are, you don't see me over here complaining about there being no women.
