The 3 Bridges back drops were also interesting, the blue brick one remind me of the millions of blue bricks used to line the Cairo Sewer Tunnels back in the Maggie Thatcher days. The turrets on B2 great bit of building work and a riveted steel bridge all great bits of engineering. Any news on the 18 lb whatsit????????
A good tip (idea) unwind the rope first then knot the rope to the magnet. (at one end obviously!!!! 😁) I would find that not only easier but, more logical. Just making sure no-one is stupid enough to trip on the rope ( presumably you have it away from people walking or cycling past to trip on. ( THINK SAFETY FIRST!!! 👍😉).
Why not keep a basket and rope handy, then you could lower the more “exciting” finds back in so that if they do go off at least it’d be at the bottom of the river!
If the Police are going to be picky about you finding possibly live ordinance, then you ought to offer to chuck it back in, save pulling them from their Doughnut lunch.
