I’m from Enid Oklahoma and know very much about the Rattle Snack Hunt which Lee Majors and Fara Faucet used to come every year (I believe that was Watonga, OKLAHOMA but would have to double check my facts😉. Lee Majors had a house on the outskirts of Enid just for that purpose 😍. Hope U2 are enjoying being home❣️
Great video. The snake pit not for me. 😬 We loved that y'all tried the snake. I'm with Deb I don't think I would like it either. And those snakes being butchered were still curling up...oh my. Love y'all. 💞
I have a phobia (badly!) (worse than you Deb lol)of snakes. BUT after we moved here (OK), we just had to check it out. Learned a lot at the pit. Funny thing I did there was try to fool my grown kids with a pic of the fake snake. Didnt work ! Lol Both called me to say " Mom please! You cant fool us with that fake one. We know you too well. You would be passed out if you got that close" lol
This is great. I know some people are upset but in the end it’s a problem that needs to be addressed. Just like the Bernese python competition in Florida and the Asian carp roundup and new cuisine. Thanks for sharing.
Hello ! I'm a chicken, I couldn't watch much. Which is odd, because I'm an Okie too ! Born & bread. But don't like snakes. My brother use to go to that every single year !! Looking forward yo neck one. You said Native American Danced, right.? Been to alot of those. I'm Cberokee !! Wel Be Careful, & Be Safe !! 👍 🌷 😎 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Good morning Bill and Debbie very interesting video and all that rattling of snakes. As long you don't provoke them you'll be fine and dandy but if do provoke them they will bite that's their defense. But I wouldn't eat 🐍 no way Jose! That's crazy when the guy cut the head of the snake and started that reflex action just the chicken running with no head and crashing all over. I prefer to eat 🐔 and 🐰 they are good to eat. Safe travels.
They are an important part of the ecosystem... If anyone has ever been to NYC at night when it's raining? You'd love to have as many snakes as possible.
I heard it tastes like shrimp and about the same texture. Guess I heard wrong. I tried alligator once in New Orleans, it was very rubbery. I’ll not try it again.
Cool! Being from AZ we love and loathe them lol. When will you guys be out west again? Also, we started uploading again. Please let us know what you think about them!
@@LifeisaJoy We are headed to Vegas to visit a couple friends and then to the CA coast. Going to The Bus Fair in June and then to CDA ID area for summer. Where are you headed after CO?
@@BricksofHappiness Actually we aren't sure. We don't plan too far in advance at this point. Hope we see you somewhere along the way. We may go to Oregon, not sure.
Love me some "NakeMeat!" I love all of God's creatures and I am a very humane meat eater. I used to have constrictors as pets. But rattle snake, Copperhead, ect... goes down good on a grill or a frying pan. We have Copperheads and Black Snakes on our property and I always let them be. Copperheads keep the mice and rats down and Black Snakes keep the Copperheads down.
Copperheads are not our favorites. Jim was bitten by one years ago. It took him about 6 months to fully recover. Be careful around them..Thanks for watching!
I love snakes when they're dead! How do the snakes stay so calm? We have them all over here in East Tennessee Baby snakes can bite you also. I sure hope I don't have Nightmares tonight. love you guy's but I can't keep watching. snakes and spiders are not my happy place!
Eeèek snakes not my favorite , its first time seeing a rattle snak very interesting. We too have snakes in Australia thankfully no rattle snakes we have eastern brown, red belly black snake , tiger snake meny others these are a few of our dangerous ones but thankfully they dont come into built up aeras .

Nice one 👍my wife was bitten by a pygmy radler about 13 years ago not long after we met. ...TJ
Yikes! A copperhead bit Jim years ago - not a great experience! Thanks for watching!
I agree, very informative. To think one day, we won't be afraid of snakes is very hard for me to imagine. Isaiah 11:8
Yes, but for now I still have a good healthy fear of them. :)

I understand. I used to have an unnatural fear of snakes. Now it has reduced to just a good healthy fear of them. :)

Still hate snakes 🐍. 🤭
I pray to God I NEVER run into one of them!
Now I know where not to go! Snakes, yuck.
Right! Thanks for watching!
Why ? Why ? Why ? Couldn't even watch the video. Why ?, Normally enjoy you but not this time.
Sorry about that. :(
