In the 2023 NBA Summer League, Emoni Bates proved himself to be not what most scouts anticipated him to be, which includes being selfish and inefficient. Rather, Emoni Bates has proven that he can play a role and be effective in it for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
With that said, Emoni Bates is great in some areas but still has work to do to utilize all of his talent. So in today's video, we analyze Emoni Bates' performance in the NBA Summer League 2023 Championship and see what Emoni Bates can do to take his game to the next level and how he can be effective with the Cleveland Cavaliers going forward.

*Sf not guard !! Sizable wing who fits our small backcourt and stretches the floor enough with a decent shot that he’s improving, makes plays on both sides .. super glue guy that’ll wreak ha or with Mobley on defense !! Bates a flamethrower off the bench in a year with upside to be more but honestly Travers / Bates SF rotation in a year will be solid and cost effective

Wow - great analysis - I think (hope) Cavs coaches are showing Emoni similar film - because he did visibly improve every game but still felt like him
