So, I started working on this song in April of 2020, a month after I released Addict for the first time. Since then, life has been a complete 180 for me, in the most positive way! That ultimately made me insanely busy and subsequently had me taking way more time than expected working on this particular song. With that said, after 2.5 years, I FINALLY bringyou my Alastor song, featuring the amazing talents of Hazbin Hotel’s pilot VA Ed Bosco, and his pilot singing counterpart, my longtime friend Black Gryph0n! I ended up reaching out to quite a few people for this one, so I hope the result was worth the extra time and effort we all put into it! Enjoy!

The transition is at the Sky Part if i'm not mistaken (1:57), ed sings first a Low-mid tone sky and Black gryphon continues in a high tone and singis the chorus 1:57->2:30.

This is awesome! I still can’t get over Ed’s singing in this! He’s sung before on the Hunicast just for fun, but here he is incredible! Props to BlackGryphon and Silva Hound for this, too! The transition between the two singers is flawless!

Either way, I’m for him, and I could hear how he incorporated his rapping talent into it.

It seems like many songs based on Alastor ride the Horrorcore theme a lot, but this seems more like Alastor, just simply upbeat and gleeful with all the atrocities he commits. It makes more sense with his M.O.

This is probably one of the coolest thing someone has done. Someone looked at the songs sung by the heroes, compared them to the ones usually sung by villains, and gave a villain a hero song. Awesome.

This song makes me so happy for some reason, most songs for the all powerful radio demon are like scary and stuff but this one just makes you hop and dance around, I love it and had it on repeat since I found it. I have been really depressed and like suicidal lately but this justs makes me so so happy and actually smile so thank you

This is the perfect combination of classic Silva Hound production and songwriting, with the best sense of nostalgia to the early 2010's EDM I used to listen to a lot as a kid. Gorgeous performance from Edward and Black Gryph0n! Gonna be jamming to this on my playlist for a looong time xD

Actually, the singing voice is not part of the actual show anymore. He got recast. Not sure if Ed is still a part of it, but we can only hope.

Actually there is evidence that Ed is still alastor,he likes a shit ton of alastor related tweets,plus in his Twitter bio,he lists all the characters he is playing now and alastor is one of them.

I love the fact that this song is so....whimsical. It just highlights the fact that Al doesn't even think of them as threats, or as impossible to overcome enemies....he's playing the long game, and when you're an immortal soul in hell.....well, you've got all the time in the world.
This is probably my favorite Hazbin Hotel song. Its sad to see that Edward Bosco will no longer voice Alastor but, Its good to know that he and Black Gryph0n got to do one Hell of a final performance as the Character. Hopefully, Amir Talai is able to do a good job voicing Alastor moving forward with the series.

@@PiePierrot It's not super recent but it definitely wasn't there in 1933, at least not as a physical thing. Stereo was a concept that was long in the making (first ideas were put forward before ww2) but for general consumers it only became available around 1958-1959 and at first it was only limited to records and reel to reel tape. Around 1958 people could've bough first stereophonic turntables and turntable cartridges. Stereo records followed, first as a niche but around 1962-1963 they were already adopted by large music labels. The road to stereo in radio reception was more bumpy. The first attempts were made around 1960 but there were a lot of problems with competing formats and compatibility. There were 2 main formats competing- Multiplex and Multicast. Multicast was the idea of broadcasting one channel of stereo signal on AM (medium wave) and one channel on FM. Multiplex was a mono FM signal with stereo compound encoded into it, similar to how color TV works. Multicast was the first system to be implemented but Multiplex won because of backwards compatibility. Old mono radios just ignore the encoded stereo compound and play FM stereo stations in mono, rather than missing one channel like they would with Multicast. The downside was that Multiplex required new radios to be equipped with a decoder circuit, as opposed to multicast which only required new radios to be able to operate in AM and FM simultaneously (which is basically just adding one or two switches to the design). In the end the option of using a more complex design for new models but not having to modify existing radios was seen as more attractive. So stereo radios went through an evolution from multicast designs with connections for external multiplex decoders (around 1960), through designs with optional installation of multiplex decoder modules (around 1963-1964) to designs that incorporated multiplex decoders (mid to late 60s). Stereo broadcasting in the Multiplex system was introduced from the late 60s onwards depending on country (and whether it has already adopted FM radio broadcasting itself). So as far as stereo broadcast is concerned Alastor missed it by about 35 years, possibly more because the US was late to the game with FM broadcasting in general

Some people in the comments have said this type of music doesn't fit his character, but I see it as him proving that his platform will never die and he can adjust to modern times when he so desires. His lifestyle is stuck in the 20's, but as a radio DJ he probably knows how to satisfy an audience regardless of the times. Idk just my headcanon
I also had this connection in my head of like.... streaming. Radio is streaming now, and through podcasts and stuff radio shows are more popular than ever. @@oddtomato1049 , the song Phantom does not count. The song itself was released much MUCH earlier and has a separate video clip. When the Hotel became popular, he released a video with a song that had already been released a long time ago, and just inserted excerpts of Alastor's lines into it, and actually art with him in the video, like Al sings it. It just so happened that the song fits the Persian a little in meaning and actually decided to catch a hype on this. So you're right to think that this song doesn't count.

I don't usually enjoy dubstep...my ears are very sensitive, do forgive me...
BUT DAMN IT WORKS WELL HERE. Perfectly encapsulates the craziness of the "Radio demon", and then those trumpets and classical-esque spurts in between. Masterpiece right here friends, so hands off those dials.
The jazzy/ trumpet sound makes me think of the parties in the French Quarter lol. Also the animation in itself kind of tells a story that just fits. AWESOME JOB TO THE THREE OF YOU!!!!!

There's a heck of a lot of synth, which they didn't have in the 20s. Not enough classic instruments, and not even an old timey radio filter on the man's voice. Banger of a song, but it didn't do our favorite deer justice.
