Why didn't they fail when they blew it up from outside the hangar when Ryan flew it in? I assume they destroyed it since Lester entered an invisible car that they destroyed.

I know. I"m just saying why did destroying it in the first attempt fail the mission, but destroying it in the second attempt didn't? Or they didn't blow it up the second time and it just glitched and was invisible.
I think it's a glitch with Retry where it doesn't respawn the car, so they couldn't blow it up the second time
Seeing this video made me realize Achievement Hunter created the Avenger prototype with a Cargobob and a tank.
The Avenger exists in reality as the Boeing Osprey.

and the AC-130U has an armament of:
One 25mm GAU-12 Gatling gun
(1,800 rounds per minute)
one L60 40mm Bofors cannon
(100 shots per minute)
one M102 105mm cannon
(6-10 rounds per minute)
So actually, while the AC-130H/U isn't VTOL capable, the idea of heavily arming a flying vehicle isn't exactly new. The original AC-130 was made in 1968, though it originally only had a 30mm cannon for it's heavy armament I believe. Don't remember the exact specs.

Geoff, you are absolutely correct: The "Story" of GTA V Online takes place approximately 4 weeks before the Single Player Story of GTA V. And as days don't pass story wise in GTA V Online, it will always be about 4 weeks prior to GTA V SP.
Funny how they assume the helicopter was the destroyed vehicle when it didnt say the name of the helicopter, just that "A vehicle was destroyed". It was Jack that blew up the car.
Team Union Jack is great. I personally liked trial and error too but if Gavin wanted to seriously change their team name, Union Jack is a creative one.

everyone blamed it on Gavin because the assumption was that the Avenger was somehow destroyed. nobody was thinking about the car. all it said was "vehicle destroyed". in every other instance, that means someone broke the vehicle they were actively using, like what happened with Michael earlier in the video.

15 minutes in and we've already had Jack drive into the biggest rock, Gavin decide to randomly scale a mountain, Michael destroy his car by putting it on an incline, and Ryan repeatedly crash into coral. The fact that they conquer this heist is really an inditement of Bogdan.

Jack blowing up lesters car setting them back was totally worth the invisible car scene. I'm crying
Gavin usually does get vehicles destroyed a lot especially when in control of them, so I can see how everyone felt it was him at first. On top of that, I can see where Jack just thought they were random cars in the hanger that didn't matter since there didn't seem to be anyone near them and random cars parked outside of it as well. I didn't know it was Lester's car either until he just randomly popped up in the cut scene. In a more serious environment, Jack shouldn't have been shooting anyway, but AH isn't a serious environment. Felt like a situation that is to be expect from AH. I'm totally cool with it.
Couple in that the actual failure message was both delayed enough from the destruction of Lester's car and in sync enough with the plane landing, and that it just said a "vehicle" was destroyed, then you can certainly understand why even Jack genuinely could've thought that Gavin did it at first. Later when they all realize that it was Lester's car getting destroyed that failed it, Jack at 48:49 said, "Oh yeah, we blew the shit outta that thing." He did say "we" and not "I", but from his tone you can tell at that point he's just being cheeky. TH-cam comments are just taking things way too seriously as per usual.

The scenes where michael falls off the helicopter or whatever it is, and when he couldn't enter it, after ryan got in, were the best two moments in this video.
