I was in Taiwan (mostly Taipei but also Tainan and Kaohsiung) end of September and into early October, and I absolutely loved it there! It was a bit rainy (left just a day before the big typhoon landed) at the time, so already planning to go back end of October for Pride. Can't wait.
doubt they are homeless....the title was just made for click bait. Though, it is extremely cheap to live in Taiwan if you are coming from a very expensive country already like the US or Norway. Street food is like $2-4 and hotel capsules can be as low as $15 a night.
