It's called Gum stay or interface or clothe gum or iron on but look for the one that is stiff and not the light texture. I do hope that answered your question?

How would I put a peak on the front of this hat?

Please can you explain what peak is? If it's like brooches. You can pin it to the main fabric of the hat, before adding the hat linen or you can pin it to the hat after sewing but its going to show on the inside

Is for Muslim men and for igbos as well so the one for the Muslim man is mostly woven materials but the one for the igbo men is like the swead which is the one I made for. you can still use this pattern to make the one for the Muslim so they are all the same thing dependent on the material that you used in making it
