    I can agree, coming on highly skilled migrant was easy. 6 years ago my employer took care of everything. They bought an apartment on rent, gave advance salary for the first week and picked me up from the house on first day of my work. My colleagues helped and explain how train and bus passes works. Seems like I was lucky but also among top 10% of software developers and getting a permanent contract was easy, so didn't bother to learn dutch. (But I recommend to learn dutch). Lastly, all praise to almighty god who made everything easy. :)

    My plan is to submit a project : to create a website where drivers can easily book shipment from one city to other city or state to other state, and customers can post loads on it
    Since I am a Dispatcher this system works in USA
    What do you think, can this type of idea approved

      When it comes to the startup part, I'd say why not, I mean there's definitely an innovative part to it!

    How long did it take for your application to be finalized?

    • @anabusinesstips
      @anabusinesstips  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      From the moment I've submitted it, I guess it was finalized within 3 months - that's when I received a call from the embassy. It took 3 months more to receive an entry visa. However, the whole facilitator search process took about 1 year (partly due to COVID), so 1.5 years in total

    If you get a startup visa but if your startup fails to take off, can you transfer your visa to work visa as to work for someone else?

    • @anabusinesstips
      @anabusinesstips  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It would be a big big challenge as you need to find an employer willing to change your visa type. 99% of the time that would be a switch to a Highly Skilled Migrant type of visa. This type of visa requires your new company to offer you a salary of a specific level, it can't be lower than somewhat 3,500 EUR if you're under 30 and 5,300 if you're over 30 (these are off the top of my head, but they're more or less true). So you have to be really qualified and most probably be in IT as both are quite high salaries for the Dutch labor market.
      Otherwise, you can work as a freelancer/contractor.

      With the startup visa, I don't think so. There has to be a part related to innovation, research and development 😊 there's also another type of business visa, but from what I only 2% of applications are approved
