Lovely podcast! A new subscriber here - you deserve far more than you have currently - but I am sure that will change. Keep up the interesting knitting. I'm enjoying your choice of patterns and yarn - even if i can't buy it anymore 😞
I loved all of your knits! I appreciate all the detail you shared about the modifications, fibers and experience with each project. Looking forward to more videos...💐
One Elizabeth to another, I love your videos! The Cosmo Cardigan has been in my queue forever and I really like what you've done to lengthen it (I'm 6' tall who likes things to hit where you do so lengthening is a MUST). I have also been looking for a simple vest that comes over the shoulders and this Nordic Vest is PERFECT, so thank you! I love your style and your knitting is stunning!
Thank you so much!! and omg length matters so much in terms of whether I'll actually reach for that garment. Modify away! I hope I get to see your projects!
Thank you! I love the pullover version too - if I remember correctly, the reason I went with the cardigan was because the pullover wasn't released yet but otherwise it was a toss-up which to make first!
When Cloudborn went out of business, I almost cried. Their Highland Fingering is nice, and I've knitted several things with it, but they had this one Wool Fingering Twist Limited Edition that I only got two SQs of several years ago and it's made the absolute best sweaters ever. I am so damn sad I can't get any more of it. I did find a person on Ravelry who was destashing a SQ of it in a blah kelly green that I do not like, but I bought it and plan to overdye it, because I have to have another sweater in that yarn. So yeah. I hear you.
You are super cool. Love your personality and your picks for sweaters. Great taste and super fun. Happy new year and looking forward to more videos. Take care!
You’re giving me courage to try my first knit sweater. Maybe I’ll try a cardigan first. I have a lot of body dysmorphia around my tummy and I love cardigans.
You go, champ! Deciding to do it is the most important step. If you have a sweater that you like the way it fits, measure the circumference at the bust and at the tummy! some of my favorite store bought sweaters had different measurements, so I knew I might like some body shaping when I started making my own
The Man flu is real lol. Haha he is really wonderful usually, but the man knows what he's about when it comes to what kind of fabric he won't wear. Better than letting me knit a whole sweater he'll never touch!
Knitting is a very low-risk way to learn new skills because, other than very rare situations, you can always just rip out your stitches and start over! That's why I'm not much of a sewist lol
5 min in and really enjoying your sense of humor! Feel free to disregard, but I’d suggest leaving your text asides up for slightly longer. I’d hate for the world to miss that your husband is a delicate prince 💫
Hi Liz , love the Jen Steingas pattern and colours , I have to try 1 too , on sale yarn is the best ! Thanks for the tips . Are you canadian ? I'm a TO gurl. Hugz 😊
If you buy yarn on sale, always buy much more than you think you need. Some day, you can use any leftover yarn into another project. Just leave a note attached to it, with the fiber content, weight, etc. so you'll know how to use it later.
I like to tuck my ball bands inside the little ball of leftovers! I do a pretty bad job at buying too much sale yarn in any one variety though- I have a small hoard ready for accessories but somehow I always feel like I'm playing yarn chicken on garments!
Hey, there! Just found you, and I have to thank you for reminding me of the Bright Side raglan. I've been looking to cast on a basic raglan, and I really love the heathered colorways of Rauma. Win, win! I'll be watching from Spain - @lamanchaknitter
I have, but only for the one I needed when I bought that final skein. There wasn't much, and the dye lot I wanted was just in stash but not for trade/sell. That's a great idea though - I certainly wouldn't need the same color for a whole new project...

Thank you for the kind words!! I'm certain I will mistakenly buy excellent discontinued yarn again but...better to have loved and lost, right?
I'm so happy the TH-cam algorithm introduced you to me. Happy New Year, and looking forward to your 2024 knitting journey.
Thank you!! It's exciting to go into 2024 knowing I'll have new friends to talk to knitting about!
I loved all of your knits! I appreciate all the detail you shared about the modifications, fibers and experience with each project. Looking forward to more videos...💐
Thank you! I also love hearing about people's modifications and the reason for them so there'll definitely be more of that to come :)
Wow! Your Sonrae Sweater is so beautiful! i love your color choice. very inspired.
Thank you so much!! Honestly thoughI haven't seen a version of that sweater yet I haven't fallen in love with lol

So happy to be introduced to lots of patterns that are new to me. Love them all! And REALLY enjoyed the funnies written on the screen!
I had so much fun with the funnies! I just want to roast myself while editing and this lets me do it lol. Glad you enjoyed!
Also, I really appreciate that you discuss how you experience the pattern writing! Thanks
First time finding you on here - I'm enjoying your style and style of videos! Looking forward to more
Welcome! I haven't been here long but I'm having a good time so far and so happy you are too :)
Just stumbled upon your channel :) Really love your cosmo cardigan! I've been eyeing the pullover version for a while, it's such a beatiful design.
Thank you! I love the pullover version too - if I remember correctly, the reason I went with the cardigan was because the pullover wasn't released yet but otherwise it was a toss-up which to make first!

Desperate times call for desperate measures!! I'm sorry for your (and mine, and the knitting world's) loss :(

My delicate prince 😂😂 I feel the same when the man cold strikes

Really proud of you! That's Cool. I really want to learn. 💯

Love the feedback! Thank you! It is very important info to have lol
My husband and I say “trust in the heart of the cards” all the time 😅
Glad to hear other couples also keep the yu-gi-oh references alive! Lol
I laughed out loud at "my delicate prince" 😂
Gotta call em as I see em 😂

Hugz 😊
Love a good sale yarn, even if it hurts later lol. I'm American, sadly. Shorter winters means less sweater opportunity down here :(

I'd love to knit one in the original yarn! And heathers are so good! I'll watch your Instagram for project posts :)
Have you checked Ravelry for the stashed yarn there in the trade or sell for cloudborn fibres
