So good. Even though I have taken real life classes I have never seen so much detail. Especially on the corners of the foiling. Also, I never noticed until now how beautifully you cut the glass. The direction of the texture in the glass give this so much movement. Great job! Thank you!
Hey .You don't know me but I've been watching every video you ever did and I feel like I'm pretty much working side by side with you .I'm fairly new about 5 months in now , but I see improvemens in both of our work .You did an amazing job on this project .great lines so clean .hands down you put me to shake today .lol .Your an amazing Teacher .Your steady ,you explain things amazingly so that anybody can understand .You have a nice upbeat attitude, and I can tell that you truly love doing stained glass ,just like I do .everytime I watch as soon as I'm learning something ,or whatever is going on there are many times you will say it on the tutorial as I'm thinking it .Thank you for these videos .I see you sharing the knowledge with others and your not obligated to do that,So I Thank You for the videos .They have been amazing ,keep up the good work and I would definitely of bought a beginners kit ,very good idea .Because when you are starting with glass all the things youl need ,it is so confusing . Sincerely ,Christina
Solder helps hold the pieces together but you can use the copper foil as accents on top of the glass separate from the solder joints. Haven't seen it done like that as bare copper but you can do that for sure.
Great explanation! Thanks for your videos they are very useful. I have question for 3 dimensional projects: How big can you go with this technique? Lets say i wanted to make te planter you made recently. If I wanted to double or triple the size would the soldering stil hold it together?
Another great video! Would you mind letting me know if the grinding machines top is suppose to come off when cleaning? I can’t get mine off and am at a loss for how to clean it :/
That's a beautiful piece..
Lol I love that you mentioned using palo santo at first! I love to smudge with it and always have some on hand!
It’s the best! 🔮

How do you clean your soldering iron!?:)
Is it necessary to solder over the copper, or can you use the copper as an accent?
Solder helps hold the pieces together but you can use the copper foil as accents on top of the glass separate from the solder joints. Haven't seen it done like that as bare copper but you can do that for sure.

Yes the solder will hold and is quite strong. Not sure about weight if you add water or soil. Depends on size and amount of mass added.
Where do you buy your glass though?
I buy locally but we just got some glass on the site if you want to check it out! stainedglassdiy.com/shop

What kind of grinder do you have?
It's probably a fixed one so just rinse the bay and you should be good
Can I use copper foil with lead free solder??
Brand New to this!
Yes! I’ll eventually get into lead free solder at some point
I would go waaayy more transparent-Im going with chopstick -no pun-anything that has good reviews..
