If these are using a technology involving a gravity distortion field, which is a technology that has been mentioned for awhile now in relation to this subject matter, then we can't target them because they do so something to the literal space surrounding them. Where getting into differing levels of applied physics, which we are not equipped to deal with because we never had to. If they are using such technology and we do have counter measures, odds are we don't have those counter measures at the scale or degree required for this size of a situation. To be clear I'm not saying this is the actual case, but there is well known in the semi hypothetical sense a shielding technology that would make these things invisible to most of our existing military tech. We know the drones that are the size of a Honda civic are not “hobbyists” so that only leaves commercial operations such as Amazon & Walmart, or the military. We know Amazon has not yet deployed its delivery mothership & subsidiaries (swarms), although they have developed a plan for supplying urban centers like the NYC area (which I assume would involve flying over NJ). So it’s possible Amazon or its partners/ aero engineers may have been doing testing, but there’d be no need to cover that up. It also wouldn’t account for all the other sightings

We know the drones that are the size of a Honda civic are not “hobbyists” so that only leaves commercial operations such as Amazon & Walmart, or the military.
We know Amazon has not yet deployed its delivery mothership & subsidiaries (swarms), although they have developed a plan for supplying urban centers like the NYC area (which I assume would involve flying over NJ). So it’s possible Amazon or its partners/ aero engineers may have been doing testing, but there’d be no need to cover that up. It also wouldn’t account for all the other sightings
