Ahoy my friends! I have finally beaten the EX2 Bahamut Fight!!! This fight is nails hard and took me about 150x with many different failed strategies!! Utilizing an Elemental DPS Strategy with No Sigil Breaks!! Definitely a choreographed fight, but not only in the realm of whales!! Super fun fight and I hope this guide helps you all to clear it!! Sanctuary plus is all I needed to see to know this wasn't as bad as I what I had to go through to beat it with a base bandaged sword. Saved me the need to WL it thankfully. Congrats
@BodhiJMSRyder I took it off of my wish list after beating it. I was going to pull for it using the special pick banner otherwise. It was the hardest battle for me since Crash Sephiroth. Keep up the great content!
Honestly i dont know. I would have to see all the gear you have to work with + can > ob6 bandaged sword hit high with 2 casts? Could maybe use a mana ward (mdef up?) low cast and follow with sanctuary to hit high and that would handle mdef against megaflare. Tho for the matk down / patk down its hard to hit it with one char and still hit the dps threshold. Nightbloom goes low to mid so prob doable. Which dps weps?

Currently I run Sephiroth with Edged Wings OB6 with Flare Star OB4, Tifa as my Healer with Lifeguards OB2 and Tiger Fangs OB3 for the MATK down to high and Cloud with Zidane Sword OB7 with Bandaged Sword OB2. I have higher DPS but my heals are quite lower but I can use more LBs with Tifa... On the other hand if I take Aerith, I'll have higher heals but no MDEF down to high

@korhddrebirth7778 oh wow guess I skipped that one haha. Honestly it’s a toned down version of EX2. Build a team like I did in EX2 and the fight is just an easier version of it
@@BodhiJMSRyder I tried that, I used the same build that you used for Bahamut EX 2 and I was doing very little damage, I couldn't the break sigil on time and Bahamut instantly K.O. my team because I was taking too long to defeat it. This is just my opinion but maybe relaying/using elemental damage isn't a good choice against an enemy that has no elemental weakness. That's the experience I got from playing Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis, I usually use non-elemental attacks against enemies that don't have elemental weakness.

I didnt keep count hiw many times ive tried lol, but it took me nearly 3 or 4 days worth of trying. At first i thought it was impossible but once i tried it, realized how similar it was to EX 1 and i already lost a lot to that lmao. After trying out all the different teams i could bring in, ultimately fell onto Cloud, Red 13 and Tifa
@@BodhiJMSRyder yupp , I had to replace aerith so I needed a support / healer and he does both things super well. I only have his manaward at OB1 so like I had to play it somewhat perfectly or the entire run is a flop! The hardest boss so far imo
@@BodhiJMSRyder the hardest part for me was when hes about to dive bomb and if I let red or cloud waste atb, they won't have enough to heal to full / cast barrier twice on time. I could also only build tifa with enough to where she can do enough damage to win, but she will die from dive bomb even with high potency barrier + attack down mid. So if he had target her it would have ended there
Thats how it was for me with Seph. If he was targeted in dive bomb phase it was a retry. But damn nice work bro!! So you used Red to heal this fight? How did you manage that mate? And yeah def the hardest boss so far!!!
@@BodhiJMSRyder you can check my build i have it uploaded . his regen is not that great but it gets the job done lol . when hes about to dive bomb , i'll set it up and then try and save my limit breaks so i can make him recast his animations to let me heal a bit . i think youtube removes comments that have links or something

I felt the same at first honestly, but it might be more within your grasp then ya think. It just takes a lot of failed attempts to find what works.
Over 50 consecutive runs, and can't even reach sigil just because he keeps focusing sephiroth 100% of the times

Maybe there are also some set criteria for who he targets that might override random targeting.
@pudicus2 i checked PDEF, MDEF and HP, plus seen it hit all three chars with no change to gear. My guess would be random mate, but ya never know.
