At 16th & Lincoln, you passed by the oldest surviving house in Eugene. It sits on the NW corner and more than 90 years ago, it was moved there from it's first location in the Skinner's Butte neighborhood. West 16th Ave in that area is a funny little street, only about as wide as an alley.
I was surprised it was so quiet and empty of people, in a city dominated by a large student population. In the beginning of the video there was a Hippie or Homeless man, but after that I barely saw anyone walking around. Quiet has its benefits though. It was a nice video to watch.
Neat to see someone else also exploring in Eugene. Take care!
Thank you! You take care as well!

This video starts at the corner of 10th Ave. and Lawrence st. in front of the first house I lived in when I moved to Eugene.
No way! Thats awesome man. What are the odds??
Good work
Thank you!
Nice video but where is everyone?
I’m not sure, not a particularly busy part of town for foot traffic.
reminds me of hillsboro near downtown
I don't think I have actually walked around Hillsboro. I'm not up that way much.
It's like a ghost town
It’s a quieter part of town! Pleasant area minus the dismantled bike in the canal.
People are secured off others and alot of disaster is happing in that town.
@@tinakimau6317 what is the disaster ?
The Hollywood of Oregon. Full of Actors.
What? Haha
Not familiar with Eugene here. How is Cornucopia?
It’s good! It’s a quirky spot with good food and beer. There is one in Springfield now too that we go to a few times a year!
Voted best burgers in town according to a yearly poll taken by the Eugene Weekly. I live a couple of blocks away and eat there all the time.
In this world changes so the population how will you feel life it's to serious
