Good reaction. You should know that performing in front of 55,000 people is just par for the course for Blackpink (and they don't have opening acts or share the stage with anyone). Just in the last year they performed in the largest stadiums in France, Mexico, Japan, Vietnam, Saudia Arabia, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Macau, Hong Kong, Dubai and in numerous stadiums in the US, including back-to back sell-out performances in September at Giant's MetLife Stadium. Last year they headlined Coachella performing in front of 60,000 people. If you get to know what they had to through in their 5 year training program (14-16 hour days, 13 days in a row with 1 day off, eating at company cafeteria, sleeping at company dorm, no dating, brutal monthly assessments and eliminations from 40 extremely talented teens to the 4 members of Blackpink) you would know that performing is like paid vacation in comparison. Just to get into the training program is next to impossible, for example Lisa auditioned alongside 4,000 other talented teens in Thailand, and she was the only one selected from Thailand. Rose was the only one selected from 800 auditioned in Australia. These girls may look soft, but to get accepted into the YG training program and to survive and thrive in their training program means they are total talented savages.

This year when Blackpink headlined Coachella they performed in front of 125k each day. Additionally, Coachella provided a free live stream worldwide with an estimated viewership 250m for each performance.

"Talented savages" - very well put! I absolutely admire their psychologic strength at the age of 14-19 to endure this brutal training program, away from family and friend - even in a total different country where you do not speak the language. I'm nearly 50, but this makes me actually look up to them to be able to go through so much. Their fame is very much deserved.

This was just an encore at the end of their concert. Do their live performance of Pink Venom, Shutdown and Pretty Savage at Coachella 2023. 120K in live attendance and 2B streaming online according to the organizers.

If you didn't like shutdown by Blackpink, then you mustn't like R&B n hip hop music. That's cool, you can groove on country western, acid rock and folk music that you like. It's not for me, therefore I'll never tune in for any reactions from you.
