Recently, I’ve been praying for other people A LOT. I’ve been praying for well being, for blessings, for good health, for peace and love, for joy and happiness, for forgiveness, compassion, mercy and hope for my friends, family, enemies and rivals. This prayer has changed my life. For the first time, my heart has started to unclench. My heart has begun to be filled with love, mercy, forgiveness and joy. I’ve obeen an angry, bitter, jealous and frustrated person in the past, but now, after making it a habit to pray for my enemies and my rivals, I have joy, peace, and love in my heart again. Praise the Lord!
Compassion. I try to remember that every hateful, bitter, and angry adult at one time was just an innocent child. The behavior the adult is displaying was most likely learned. Praying for others in private also brings the anger down and opens the heart. Only God truly knows the condition of another persons heart. Hurt people sometimes don’t know any better and may not even be aware of how they are impacting others or themselves. I don’t think everyone is capable of honest self reflection. Judgment and condemnation is best left in the hands of something or someone else. Kindness and love have a redemptive power. It drives out the darkness.
My mom went home with the Lord Christmas morning, 2019. While sitting by her bedside, the amount of love my mom had in her eyes for me was of God like proportions. She was not my enemy. What Was so powerful about our last time together...here was, the Holy Spirit teaching me something I can never forget. Something I feel in my heart to share with you. Love....when it is your last hour, in the flesh, on earth all that matters is who you loved and who loved you..that is it. Of course, being born again, loving Jesus , proclaiming Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and your name written in the Lambs Book of Life is God’s plan for us. God’s Like love was in my mom’s eyes. I hope to have His love in my eyes when I face my enemies.
I have two neighbors that constantly harrass me. I try to live in peace but they gang up on me. I don't really know them but our homes are close together. There's a huge age difference between us I'm older and they are much younger. I just try to live in peace. I've been praying about this but do far not much is changing.
Phatt Daddy you have to repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Then recieve the Spirit of God, turn from your evil ways and selfish desires, and submit to the will of Almighty God. He eill set you free from your past and set to deliver your future in the mighty name of Jesus.

@@phattdaddy2974 Practice self acceptance (after and along with the Jesus stuff). Self acceptance is fully owning your flaws and still recognizing that you're someone worth loving, flaws and all. Beginning a relationship with God is also the beginning of a relationship with your true self. No matter how painful it is at first, it gets easier with time and practice.
Why don't you love yourself? Is the real question. Everyone has problems I do say myself... like I always say, "Prayer Helps.. even though you don't feel like it does."
Thank you Daniel But there are many contradictions between the verses in the bible, in a verse Jesus preached "love your enemy" that's good, however when we pring the following verses that are in the same bible, here's the great problem, so open your hand so as to balance between the contradicted verses (peace vs killing): In Matthew 10:34 (KJV) "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword” In SAMUEL 15:3 "Now go and strike Amalek and completely destroy everything that they have; do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey" What?! Killing child and infant!! Are awakened man? Sure this not Jesus's sayings, so who? Sure you have no answer dear friend? Wow what love you'r talking about? Answer rationality? As Muslims we love Jesus and we believe in him as beloved prophet and servent of God Allah (the Father) not as devine bring. And we knew from the Quran which is the final testament from the God that the Christians didn't understand the message of Jesus peace be upon him, where many verses in the bible were changed by the authors, hence jesus's message was changed so the real Gosbel of jesus which believe is a light of guidance is no more. --- Here's sincere message to the honest Christians--- May the God guide the honest Christians to Islam, why? Because they can really understand what Jesus peace be upon wanted to tell them. Are you an evil person? Following the steps of your enemies makes you just like them. So why would you want to be like your enemies? If you cant love your enemies, then do not be like them. May God bless you and give you the knowledge of love and turn you away from sin.

This is the most difficult thing to do. I guess for some people including myself it takes time.

Because of God's love I can always have peace no matter what my situation is, I feel is comfort, care and tender mercies then I am strengthened🙏🏾🥰❤️
maybe is loving your enemy, just leaving them alone, and no wrath? if we rewared bad behavior.. bad behavior will continue..
