Cebu, being mostly hilly and mountainous (about 80% high elevation), you can find lots of houses and structures built on the slope or on the mountains wherever you go, either in cities like Cebu City, Mandaue City, Talisay City or rural towns in both south and north. I suggest you drive from Dalaguete from the eastern coast over to Badian or Alegria in the western coast via Dalaguete-Alegria Road or Dalaguete-Badian Road. Roads (mostly paved) crisscross the mountains of Cebu island giving you scenic drive all throughout passing through mountain villages, farms, hills, scenic mountain passes and lush tropical jungle.
