I’m not a fan of tattoos personally on myself, but I appreciate the history and artwork behind them. Sailor tattoos have incredible meaning as do the tattoos of native people

My grandfather had a pig and rooster on his feet, he was US Navy in the 60’s

If a sailor has rope - it means they where/are a deckhand, or someone who uses rope for their job
