Got one now in Kenny Roberts colours with old school microns. Love it. Aged 55 but feeling 18.

I'm also 55, would go back to my early biking days again, just too many traffic copper's back in the 80's which was the only down side! Massive fan of the King since I was 13 and managed to meet him at the 1984 transatlantic races at Donington.

I had a Kenny Roberts replica 250 back in 1982 when i was 18. Ihave missed that bike evry day since I sold it. I wouldn't have another bike again though as the roads and traffic is not the same nowadays.

This gives me the same nostalgia goose bumps as when I view the 80's music videos. The same remark goes here. The 80's, a truly remarkable era.

Rode one of my mate's when I was still on L plates in 1985, perhaps the greatest experience ever on a bike even though I owned several big four strokes, including an FZR 1000 exup and a GPZ1000 after passing my test about 6 months later.

Christ that lc looks fantastic and the microns sound amazing, yes I'm another biker in my mid forties , I had a 350 with the early small can allspeeds , two other 350s with small can microns and a 31k powervalve with the small can microns, great times, seizures, races, crashes, 6 month ban, more adrenaline than an a&e department, made me realise I need to buy another , , re-live the glory days , , thanks for posting the video mate, hope to see you on the road making smoke. Hallelujah praise yamaha strokers

Love it! I was an original LC boy, had 5 altogether in all colours except the white with red stripes, had microns on my '82 and had this colour on my last one.
Remember the saying - "LC? Thrashed, crashed or nicked !"
Original early 80s hooligan bike , i can never forget that up and down burble from the pipes. Still got a great big hole in my kneecap coming off an LC lol

Back in the early eighties I was riding a Honda CX500, my first encounter with the RD350LC was disastrous for me, The RD350LC rider was two up, riding around our towns one-way system, he left me for dead.
My poor CX500 never stood a chance, so here I am in 2011, still remembering that day very well, never forgetting it!, except now I smile about it, and have much admiration for this exceptional bike. You have a beauty here! Im very envious... :-))

Sweet memories of my 1982 Kenny Robers 350LC. These are the bikes that started the demise of themselves, ironically (frenetically fast two strokes). I remember the police simply could not catch them with their BMW bikes and Ford Ganadas. I know I never intended nor did I stop for the police and chased at least 2 dozen times and never caught (no police helicopters then). For young riders to see your bike get to 70mph so quickly should tell them that fast bikes didn't start with R1's (love them too) Thanks for posting buddy.

I had 7 lc's the last was an 87, 250 with small end microns, I never owned a powervalve but had a 350 with a stage 3 terry becket tune and swarbric pipes would wop the arse out of gs1000's and cb900's, 14 mpg and got be banned for 28 days but boy those were brilliant days.
Now everything is clinical and boring, I would love to relive them days when you could be a holligan hi-tec trainers, skin tight jeans and a MA1 flying jacket the atire to go out and duel on the queens highway.
The noise wether with microns or allspeeds will always make me smile but also a tear to my eye as these lovely bikes are all but gone from the 1000's built.I will in time get another so watch out in them mirrors because "i WILL BE BACK" at 47 years old feeling 17 again !

    • @timcolder2789

Yes totally agree, I had them on my X7 and my KH125, when one of the X7 pipe welds split I went to the Codnor Light Fabrications factory which was about 10 miles away from where I lived and they made a new pipe and fitted it for me. Great customer service! Unfortunately a copper who lived two doors away was not so happy.

Superb! I had an early white/ blue one, carb redrilled as per factory instructions, K&N air filter and re-jetted. Standard pipes though, just took the wadding out. Fitted a Rickman top half faring with drop bars, steering damper, Dunlop tires (SP100 ?) a really pointy tire, almost triangular in section, made to leaning waay over! Saw 115 without going to full throttle first time out with the faring, heading down to Dover from Folkestone.
Next day it was stolen. :'¬(
