Omg the feeling of discovering a new (to me) Sophie track is like, hi new angel just dropped! A new feeling so vivid and fresh. Incredible and heartbreaking, I was ready for her work to evolve to places that I couldn’t follow. Still thinking about her all the time. Edit/Just heartbreaking to listen to. Her music is so intuitive, fearless, fluid, powerful, dynamic, what a spirit she had! Such a liberated sound. And bless dvnots for doing these remakes, I love a lot of their original work too and we’re so spoiled that they do these Sophie remakes as well!!!
The original finally leaked on TH-cam. I can't believe I'm gonna say that but... this remake actually sounds better than the original in my opinion. It has more relief and better dynamics. So congratulations, for me you did better than our lord and master SOPHIE with this one. *clap clap*
