Fascinated with Woolie's obsession with throwing his gun, to the point that he'll take time to track and aim at a target, but rather than shooting them try to yeet his pistol 30 yards at them
Part of the trick with the gunplay is that you can and should aim for the head every single time because (it feels like?) there's generous aim assist that tracks your bullet to the enemy's head if the reticle is more or less on it, and it gives you more bonus time than shooting them to death with bodyshots (not to mention being more ammo efficient). Pistol headshots while sprinting ahead at full speed are deceptively easy to consistently pull off in this game.
I’m almost completely positive after playing on gamepad that the very generous aim assist ramps up relative to player speed. Go faster and your bullets practically home in on enemy skulls
Straight up, the game's got aim assist, but not one that actually controls your aim, but just guides the bullet when it leaves the gun, makes playing fast way easier and feel super badass
This one's all about the second playthrough where you're just running through the levels like an absolute monster, it feels great. Could've been the case in the first playthrough but... This one's hella short.
sure, that's the thing that's unbelievable. Not the goomba stomping enemies, or yeeting a gun so hard it knocks someone out, or the 50 foot sliding, or the healing off gunshot bullets. No, you're right, it's the amount of enemies that's unbelievable...
This game kicks ass, but I can't imagine playing it on a gamepad, least of all with the default sensitivity it gives you. I used mouse and keyboard and cranked it up just a bit and then I was flying through encounters and only hit a couple difficulty spikes, and only on the optional challenges. One of the best final levels and best little stories I've seen in an indie game all year!
Yeah i can see why Woolie would think this game's a little jank, the gunplay is practically balanced around speed + getting consistent hadshots (which the *generous* bullet tracking makes surprisingly easy), so playing it like a normal FPS does cause the whole thing to almost move out of sync with itself.
Duuude yes! I got into you through Versus Wolves and I was Lead Dev on this, thanks so much for checking the game out!
Bro, incredible game.
Nice! got the game because of the stream
I would LOVE to contribute to whatever your next project is, this story rules
Excellent work man, this game is one of my favorite things I’ve played all year
It makes so much sense that the people behind something as cool as I Am Your Beast would also have the good taste to be into Versus Wolves
11:55 "You need to piss Alan." Followed by a explosion and the beat dropping lmao cinema
There's a couple really incredible beat drops, especially in the final level. The lyrics kick in and it's the best

Woolie, even an hour in, throwing his full guns into crowds and failing to realise enemies are just knocked down and not dead.
'i am your beast' sounds like an erotic novel.
Love the "oh no it's that AWFUL british" in response to hearing a new zealand accent. I concur.

This game had its hooks in me for a good few days straight. Easy front runner for game of the year for me
Woolie playing peak out of nowere?
Play this game last week absolutely fucking loved it The Voice acting, and character. Writing was surprisingly good.
Hey Woolie, hope your back gets better soon.
You are my prey! Ah~, ano hi no yume,
Congrats to Woolie for getting the job as the main character.
I like that they named the player character Harding so that they could do the, "Where are you, Harding?!" pun ("Where are you _hiding?")._
Has Woolie heard of Diesel Knights? Its a movement based mech shooter like titan fall, made by some guy. He'd probably pop off about it
At a certain point the sheer number of agents they're throwing at this guy to get him to do one job stretches belief.

Music during tete a tete is hitting.
5:56 HADES
11:16 At least you didn't think it was an Aussie accent.
Good title (of this video)
Not gonna lie, clicked on the video just cuz of the game's title, shit goes hard
Woolie's title for the video also goes hard. Like damn. Sequel worthy.
Great fucking game
No sidekick? Where's Reggie?
11:00 I think that's New Zealand accent.
I am Mr. Beast.

Hey Babe.
Neat game. That kind of dialogue style just registers as Tiktok dialogue to me unfortunately.
Did you vote for trump or something?
Nah man I agree; feels abit Shadow the Hedgehog edgy
@@surrendering2within Your name must be Mario, 'cause that was one hell of a leap.
@@Frank_Costanzas_Lawyer Excessive consumption of Al Ghul
wtf does TikTok dialogue even mean here? It's pithy, Tom Clancy-esque military jargon.
