    I’ve been a professional sales rep in the fertilizer business for 15 years. First with LESCO, Inc. And then with John Deere before the company I’m with now. Selling to golf course superintendents and lawn care professionals. This guy is good. He just gave a master class on plant nutrition. I sell all of these and more. Try mowing cool season grass at 0.10 inches in 90 degree temps. You learn a lot. I really enjoyed this video. Thank you!

      I know this post is 4yrs old, but I was hoping that you still get notifications and can help me with foliar mix. Last year I made a mistake by mixing the 1 gallon mix for both Kelp and Folvic acid and I was using a 24oz spray bottle. My plants had claws for 4 weeks and really stunted. Can you tell me how you use those 2 NPK products to get the 5/2 foliar mix for veg cycle? Thanks in advance.

    I really like NPK Raw products. I've been keeping up with Harley Smith's videos (I really wish there were new videos. I hope it doesn't have to do with Harley's health in why he has not done more videos in the past few years), and I finally pulled the trigger and bought some NPK products. The measuring spoon provided from NPK Raw is nice to have. I'm trying the Silica, Phosphorus and Potassium (the P and K I use as a "PK boost") at the moment and I'm seeing results. My basic nutrient line (I'm using Advanced Nutrients micro, grow, and bloom) lacks in Phosphorus so spoon feeding with NPK Raw Phosphorus helped clear up my issues with purple stems. I will be switching to NPK's "All-in-one, Grow and Bloom" when I finish using up all of my Advanced Nutrients basic line nutrients. And I do hope Harley Smith is doing ok these days.

    for your kelp foliar spray I understand the 5 - 2 ratio but should I use the humic acid or the full up or a combination of both thank you

    • @KALIX-NPK
      @KALIX-NPK  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you are choosing one or the other, we would suggest the Full Up as it is a bit more biologically active of a molecule and very high in iron content. It is totally okay to use Humic though, or a combination of the two. If using both, use a touch over 1/16 teaspoon per gal of each.

    • @marvingardens9907

      Harley doesn't recommend spraying Kelp on flowers but you can spray w Humic or Full Up through week 6 or however long you feel comfortable. Some growers never spray flowers. Some spray all the way through to harvest... To each their own!

    i just bought the grow and bloom 57 gram packets today.
    .I read then later on ebay comments that the packet is supposed to be sand like.
    Mine was one solid clump. Is it still ok or gone bad?
    Also Im not sure but possible theres some mold specks in the nutes.
    A few ppl gave feedback that the pack should be made moisture free with those small packets that gather moisture... so it wouldnt all clump together.
    Anyway I hope its a good nute. I'm using it since Liquid Karma was hard to get in europe.

    • @KALIX-NPK

      They shouldn't but if you have fine mesh filtration, it may be advised to pre-filter. Grow and Bloom are best in soil or a soil less mix. For hydro, find a hydroponics specific base, then use the RAW additives.

      the RAW additives are meant to be used to suppliment any base nutrient program. We have our own RAW Grow and RAW Bloom all-in-one, but any base nutrient should work well with our line.

    Can one use the All- in - one products for foliar feeding? Is it better to foliar feed?

    This was a very informative presentation ! Having farmed over ten yrs , I found it most helpful & accurate ! I have use dietary yeast to supply many of the elements & minerals mentioned to the soil wth good results ! The kelp info is interesting , Thank U !

      Terry Buggage I believe dietary yeast (yeast flakes) grows on molasses, those elements and minerals will come from that molasses but maybe with no where near as much carbs for myco's.
      Worm Castings and small amounts of molasses, I think are probably the 2 first go to amendments/additives.

    I am enjoying the video very very detailed I love it. Just one question I want to use it in hydroponics, is this already ph stable? What i mean is will it adjust the ph of my hydroponics solution to the needed ph or will I have to do that myself?

  • @indoororchidsandtropicals358

    Does the Omina drop the pH? I'm guessing so because of it keeping the lime scale down, but if I'm using RO and a fertilizer specifically for RO, is this going to drop the ph too much?

    • @KALIX-NPK
      @KALIX-NPK  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's probably not going to drop it to 4, but it will probably go down a bit. Always before feeding your plants, test the pH of your nutes and adjust up or down to get to around 6- 6.5 or so

    Omina raws amino acid is 14% nitrogen.... Seems counter productive for something that helps up take calcium to have so much nitrogen... Nitrogen makes for weaker cell walls
