Lol...That's a negative. Pop n lock started as "Poppin" and it did indeed originate in California, the bay area. Boogaloo Sam was the originator and it spread throughout Cali in the 70's. Locking was started by Don Campbell. Both originated in Cali . Pop n lock was what it would become and would be incorporated into other dance forms including break dancing crews from New York that learned that style from West Coast crews. Check out Boogaloo Schrimp and Bruce "Pop N Taco" Falcon, first member of Mexican ancestry to become part of those crews. Gerardo is a product of learning that much like the brothers before him.

I was about to say, Sway if you give this man one those long introductions..... There's really nothing to say about Gerardo. He had a "hit" that used to play in my head from time to time and that's as far as it went. Looking back, he was so flavorless and corny. Reality tv doesn't mess up relationships. If you're hungry and greedy enough for that bonus they give you for going to the extreme then YOU did that. It's optional.
Yeah but listening to him now he doesn't seem flavourless or corny, he seems talented and cool, fun interview.
