The night we almost lost Princess forever..

- I got home to find my dog Princess had accidentally gotten out of the yard, which ultimately ended up in her getting hit by a car. After just moving to a new house, we looked for her for hours trying not to freak out and think the worse, for she didn't have her ID on her and wasn't used to the area..making things more panic stricken. After Marisa met a young lady that helped us post a lost dog alert on Next Door App, we received a call an hour later saying someone thinks they found our dog...but she was hit by a car.
Rushing to the 24/7 Vet, hoping it is our dog, this is what ensued next..

Kudos to the person who stopped to help her and bring her to the animal hospital. Too many people just leave hurt animals on the side of the road. So many have good families that miss their "babies" when they escape!

Princess is so fortunate to have a loving family. No matter the hardship or the cost, we help our fur friends. Luckily the good times far outweigh sad. 🐕

My puppy got out of the house shortly after we had moved. Luckily, he got stuck in someone’s fenced off backyard, and the only problem was that he was really dirty. I hope Princess is able to fully heal!!💙💙💙

As unfortunate as what happened was, Princess has someone watching over her - her own angel. From her injuries to the people who got involved to getting her veterinary care and you finding her. So glad she's recovering well now. She's a toughie ❤️

Everyone please put padlocks on your gates. We had some teenagers walking around a neighborhood opening gates just to be jerks. Indoor dogs with a dog door are at risk of getting out. Also microchips and tags for every dog! My dogs have microchip tags, name and contact info tag, and rabies tag on full time. So sorry this happened to sweet Princess.
