I enjoyed the movie. It's about the meaning of Christmas and community. It's not about the gifts, it's about understanding that the gift is the ones you share Christmas with.
It a nice and meaningful movie and it makes people to spend more time with their family not alone because you'll feel very left out so start now being very angry but be sweet and loving this movie
I like the trope of the night pond. Each time the bright lights come on & the rink appears, with Gus there, or Charlie, or his father, it's magical, a Capra moment. The night pond is the spirit of Christmas, which is love, joy, fellowship, all the qualities Christ so embraced & encouraged. The night pond arrives for everyone whose heart is open to Christmas. The story's first half is somewhat bleak, but the second half sees Bobby's redemption. Uh, btw, it's a Canadian movie, with US financing I imagine. The forbidding landscape & the pale thin light is very Canadian. It was shot in Calgary (Canada's Dallas) by Canadian director John Kissack (Shadow Force, Everfall, Word of Mouth). The only American element is the flag at the town hall meeting. 😂 The movie has definite flaws, feels like an old made-for-TV movie, but the metaphor of the night pond really saves it. The young actors really packed a punch, very emotionally real, professional.
Movie that is hardly to understand in some parts. What is reality, what is fantasy, what is realy going on. What has happened to his father. He cheated, divorced and left. His Mum divorced. She looks too young to have the older son that I first thought he was her partner. Actor too old for her to be her son. Younger son is not able to accept his father left 9 years ago.
Well, it’s a little hokey (not hockey), but I guess all these Christmas movies are, and at least this one has good acting. Not sure why the older brother looks 40 and acts 10, or why the kid cut a path diagonally across the lake, four times further than if he’d just gone straight across. And I’m probably a bit of a grinch, but I don’t care how sweet the movie, seeing dead people is creepy.
It’s a wonderful life is the most brilliant of movies - what a story, what hope. You’re a fool if you don’t get that. Now this movie is not a comedy, is poorly cast and the script is hard to follow but it’s not terrible!!
It’s a terrible movie really bad script and casting when it takes 44 minutes to realise Jeremy is the SON and not the new husband. So badly casted for age appearance. He the supposed older brother looks mid forties and really the storyline is so depressing - it may end up a nice outcome BUT only 20 minutes at the end - it’s a two hour depressing movie until then 😢😢
Oh boohoo. If you don't get that Christmas movies are not meant to thump bibles at people, then anything would be lost on you! Miracle on 54th Street? It's a Wonderful Life? A Christmas Story: all secular seasonal classics, that show the grace of God working through the spirit of Christmas. But I guess a subtle message of Grace would be lost on a bible thumper...

That’s the original meaning of any celebration. The people.
Whoever directed this film got some wonderfully natural performances from the youngsters.
😊Thanks!
I'm watching 👀 here from Pampanga, Philippines 🇵🇭
It a nice and meaningful movie and it makes people to spend more time with their family not alone because you'll feel very left out so start now being very angry but be sweet and loving this movie
Such a feel good, cosy movie. Love this one 🥰
I watch this movie every Christmas, it's sort of like a tradition now :)

Very nice movie. It's about family and the essence of Christmas. Loved it.
Really good movie. Me and my family enjoyed it❤
Finally a Christmas story that doesn't involve ancient fictional contrivances instead just real family n friends
"Ancient fictional contrivances"?
It's billed as a comedy; it feels like a drama.
It is quite deep and meaningful with a fantasy component.
Lost interest!
I just loved that, thank you so much 😊
i love this movie it is the best
Your son/brother loses his best friend and this is how you treat him?!
his parents have issues...
Yes ohh

Agreed I thought the older son was her new husband until 44 minutes in - poorly cast film and not a comedy !
This is a classic family Christmas film 🎥🎥🎥🎥
That mother sure has an anger issue towards the kid!
It is a good movie , but is not a comedy for sure...😢
The family is braking apart.
Good plot. Good theme. But please, this ain't comedy. You need not mislead viewers into watching a good movie.
Having watched that speech at the town meeting, I now know where Kamala got her inspiration for her word salads.😂
Now you only need to find the movie that made your small brain dysfunctional. Your such a big boy 👏🏼
I like this movie so meaningful ❤❤❤
This is a very nice movie
Loved this little film🎉🎉🎉🎉
Pants on 🔥
Good movie! ❤😊
Upgrade Christmas Lodge pls,Thanks
Beautiful movie🎉🎉🎉
❤❤❤❤❤❤I love this ❄️
Human behavior is very depressing. Self-pity is shameful to see and hear. Playing the blame game is being lost in the past with no hope for a future.
Very tense, unhappy family
that's what I see. The mom goes from 0 to 60 in a matter of seconds on the anger scale...
this is not a comedy at all, wrongly advertised
And it's not English!
@@jackiedunne222 'Full English movie' just means the movie is recorded in English.
This video what year
I think it was released in 2016
what age

Nice 2024.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I don't get the movie. Why did the brother left and where did he go?
He died
It was okay --- a bit depressing. Kinda like watching "It's a Wonderful Life" -- only not as depressing as that.
It's a wonderful life is not depressing. Obviously you havent got the brains to understand what it's all about and the meaning of it.
It’s a wonderful life is the most brilliant of movies - what a story, what hope. You’re a fool if you don’t get that.

Not a comedy at all
Very odd story line.
Dreadful film
Boy was really rude to mom
no, mom had real anger issues at the boy all the time for no reason!
❤
Christmas is about the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ and not about Santa. There was not one mention of the real meaning of Christmas
