Way back 2001 I remember those happy moments on mountain lives, a place where away from modernization, this song were pleased to remember me when I and my two brother carrying a sack of feeds (scramble) on our shoulder ,walking early at night around a perimeter of 2-3km going home, climbing approximate 60 degree angle mountain with no light around only grass and trees was. In the middle of climb we used to take stop for a short rest were our clothes to wear covered by continues flowing sweat laying on a grass(cogon) fronting in the mysterious peak (Marmol) located in Brgy. Marmol, Tuburan, Cebu where a music come from.. This song will be a part of my childhood days experiencing poverty of life, and that is life on how we make it , and those days i promise to rescue myself. And i thank God what I am now .. My Pretty Girl. The song reminds me of a girl when we were 11 or 12. It was in a computer class (it was about basic computer skills, microsoft, ...) but clearly most of us didn't need it since we'd already so familiar with computer, so we usually did whatever we want on the computer. Keep in mind that in those days there were no smartphones, and social media was not really a necessary thing in life, we had Yahoo for texting and Facebook was mostly used to play flash game (good old days). My Pretty Girl.
The song reminds me of a girl when we were 11 or 12.
It was in a computer class (it was about basic computer skills, microsoft, ...) but clearly most of us didn't need it since we'd already so familiar with computer, so we usually did whatever we want on the computer. Keep in mind that in those days there were no smartphones, and social media was not really a necessary thing in life, we had Yahoo for texting and Facebook was mostly used to play flash game (good old days).
She was sitting there next to me, natural curly brown hair (I'm in Asia so that is considered weirdly gorgeous), skinny with pale perfect skin. I was playing some online game (which was going to be closed a month later) on mine computer while she was doing nothing but staring at my screen and randomly giggled. She was pretty, again, she was pretty. She was so pretty that I think it becomes a standard for me, I have always compared other girls to her until today. I believe we were in the same class, but only sat next to each other in the computer class because the sits were labeled by our number. Mine is 01 so hers was supposedly 02.
Little did I know that she would disappear not so long after that.
The thing that bothered me the most wasn't that I had no contact with her, but no matter how hard I try to recall I still can not remember when I last saw her, I was a little teenage boy and busy with stupid things so at the time she was just a flash.
