Tbh, sometimes a "distractor" extrator can be just as fast as a regular extractor, because they can check the entire map for machine while being able to outspeed twisteds easily, saving time not extracting, but going machine to machine.
It mainly bothers me when people use characters like pebble to extract solely because it slows the run down. I’m not gonna get mad at someone for extracting as a distractor, but it’s annoying if someone plays a distractor and doesn’t inform people they won’t be distracting before the run starts- especially if they still use distractor trinkets.
Distractors don’t exist (confirmed by the developer themselves), goob and pebbles and others are meant to be survivalists. Just don’t be toxic. If I want to play extractor goob, I should be able to play the character fun for me. If someone wants to play distractor brightney, they should be able to play distractor brightney. TL;DR: Don’t be toxic. Let people play how they want to.
I'm hoping once we get the 5 star movement speed non-main toon, itll have high stealt, and skillcheck or extraction speed, I would be dying after seeing someone tell them to distract.😂
Tisha has 4 stars in skillcheck Goob has 3 stars in skillcheck (same with pebble) And looey has 4 stars in skillcheck. I You only looked at the extraction stat, sadly, as skillcheck is better than extraction. (With a good stroke of luck, shelly can extract faster than Vee.) Edit: this isn’t toxic btw I’m just debunking some mistakes that were made overall in the stat judgement.
I am only fine with extracting distractor if they let the whole run know before going into the game, if they are my friend or if they only do it in solo or if they ask permission. In my opinion, this whole drama is just pure stupidity. “Qwel never made distracting!” Then what is Pebbles ability for? What is the reason of stealth, move. speed & stam? If there was no distracting, the game would just be smth like piggy or those average horror games like The Mimic bc none of those games have stealth, movement speed or stamina numbers! Pebbles ability is to help other toons survive by attracting the twisteds onto itself and leading it away where it eventually loses them. Stealth was made so certain toons get more aggro than others (as you see with brightney, she’s not really a meta distractor) and move speed and stamina are obvious why they exist. “Distracting was never meant to be a thing” doesn’t mean you can’t distract, it means to not expect certain “distractors” to distract. And if you’re on console there’s nothing you can do about communicating to your team that you’re extracting. I play on my Xbox to avoid crashes and there’s famously no chat option on Xbox or PlayStation. Though that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t tell them if you can.
@@SillyTopHatFrog Abt the Pebble one, it is considered supporting kinda which almost every toon can do. It is also fun bc I usually do that when I use Glisten. Someone in trouble? Just tp to them and take the twisteds away then loose em or vice versa
Okay, this is a dumbass title, im just going to point this out bluntly, and say it in the most little sense because it honestly deserves it: EVERY TOON *CAN* EXTRACT. Fr like they just trying to be special like seriously just use poppy or boxten i disagree with Tisha and Looey here since they aren’t mainly distracters they are all rounders when I played Tisha I only extracted and didn’t even know Tisha was used for distracting

Looey should be able to extract, his stats are a little better than normal and he is overall pretty versatile

Im a extractor pebble and when i join a run, 90% of the time my team doesn't tell me to distract when i say im a extractor, they respect my choice

Healers are an unnecessary role since they are supports anyway, and survivalists can simply be considered regular extractors

You can make them fast by using the Rodger and Shelly trinket,their skillcheck is good for that.
