I'm 54 and have never listened to trance until few years back and now it's all I listen to. Roger shah is one of my go to artist he's incredible his sound takes me where I need to go........... Contentment

I've always enjoyed Magic Island balearic atmosphere. Thanks to Roger's label I've discovered another 2 of my favourite progressive trance artists - Tucandeo & Nuera (which would be also amazing to see live at Luminosity). Sunlounger's"Lost" and "Found" are no doubt my favourites from Roger, which opened his music to me, as well as his album "Sunny Tales" (nice to see the album title track in this set!). "White Sand" is another tune here, the main melody of which is the definition of Sunlounger \o/ I think I prefer his progressive balearic style, but the uplifting reworks aren't bad either - at least they still maintain the label vibe and can't be confused with another label Nice to see his son Noah joining on stage, and cool to see that Roger is still using the wireless keyboard throughout all these years. Roger has been consistently brilliant over the years. To some ears trance is just pounding beats and little else. There is throwaway trance sure, but in Roger's hands there is that sublime marriage of melody, harmony, and routinely, the best vocalists available. Hats off.

So far at 1:13:56 the only thing I can regret is the variations in sound volume during Roger Shah's set, particularly during the track "Lost" which is a masterpiece. And I'm not a progressive fan.But I l'm loving this set.

So far at 1:13:56 the only thing I can regret is the variations in sound volume during Roger Shah's set, particularly during the track "Lost" which is a masterpiece. And I'm not a progressive fan.But I l'm loving this set.
Those volume variations are done by Roger on purpose to hear the crowd sing, but the crowd noise is not properly captured in the video audio. :)
