I fought like this in Nioh 1's Abyss. Trying to do sword only run now in Nioh 2 but it's much more difficult. This is very smooth and nice gameplay.
no mercy in the deapths, i did it with electricity sloth yokai shift build, no chance I let them swing at me. awesome gameplay
I just play for Nioh 2 and want to know how long to play underworld until beat it
In Nioh 1 , I use 3 month to clear abyss 999 floor and it make me mad because very bore but need to play until end

I never payed attention but does the spinning dash dodge is only so if you are guarding?
that spinning move can only be done by dodging sideways in low stance with either sword or spear

How do you fight another enemy without leaving the area ?
After you are done with the normal abyss and its 108 floors you go into the depths, and there you fight against double bosses from floor 11 up to 20, and triple bosses from floor 21 up to 30.
