As a Chinese, I am still grateful for what the Soviet Union did for us despite the conflict we had. The Soviet Union has generously helped China to industrialized and giving us basically the most advanced military production lines at that time. As neighbors, I truly hope China and Russia could have more collaborations in the coming future! Long live the Soviet-China friendship!
@@memerbener127 42 Years ago China has successfully defeated the western attempt of starting a color revolution in China. Many innocent students who had been brainwashed by western media died, and Chinese people will never forget why they died. Because of western propaganda.
Thank you for the warm, very friendly comment, comrade! But unfortunately, my friend, modern Russia is not the Stalinist USSR! Over the past few years, the Russian government has been openly drifting from bourgeois democracy (fake, but still democracy) to outright fascism. There are all the signs. So it is hardly worth hoping for full-fledged and equal cooperation while the oligarchic regime is in power in Russia. As for the citizens of Russia, people of left-wing views (and there are more and more of them as the crisis develops) still hope for the help of socialist China (still socialist) in restoring socialism, the rest of the citizens are frankly afraid of Chinese expansion (in fact, the expansion of the Chinese bourgeoisie). This is the reality, my friend. Congratulations on the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China !
The Sino-Soviet split was regrettable in how it was enacted. The Chinese had the right of it, since the USSR took their revisionist line after Stalin, but the PRC took an erroneous line in allying with the USA against the USSR, which led to things like Mao shaking hands with Marcos in the Phillipines, or the mistakes in regards to foreign policy in Africa. This also further deteriorated relations with Albania, true anti-revisionists who should have been allies to the PRC, despite their very real disagreements. May we try to learn from the experiences of the past, continue in the tenacious struggle against revisionism, and still keep in mind this dream, this ideal- of internationalist solidarity, to international communism, to the days when it seemed like our movement and our class were on the cusp of victory. We seek not just to redeem ourselves and the working class of our day, but also all those who fought in the past, to redeem the revolutions which failed, and continue their ideology and ideas into the next age. Long live the struggle for communism.
Yeah, it's a shame Sino-Albanian communications broke down during the Cultural Revolution. I've read both sides of the divide and I think there are some valid criticisms on either side, which should have been hashed out in comradely criticism rather than further splitting the anti-revisionists.
The split is more about geopolitics. It started when Stalin decided not to join Korean war. Later, USSR even invade a small island in northern border with China and threatened to use nuclear bomb. It's way complicated than ideology difference.
It was Khrushchev's fault, USSR started De-Stalinization then they wanted to build long wave radio station in China and Union fleet which is infringement of Chinese sovereignty, Mao won't agree it in any condition. Then 156 Project was canceled and a lot thing happened.
What a wonderful song! This is one of my all time favorites. I've been looking for communist songs in english, so if you can find and upload them it would be much appreciated. Thx for uploading this awesome song!

It’s a combination of it being well-preserved, being a later recording than the others (it’s the post-1956 version), and some editing magic to clean it up! I think this is really the definitive version of the song, unless we get a modern recording.
You can hear hope in this song, the hope for another system, for another world. That dream was becoming reality in Russia, China, Vietnam, Korea. There was hope. But where is it now, that we need it more than ever?

@DeathSeller Dude, Mao meet Nixon in 1972, but Sino Soviet split started after Khrushchev's De-Stalinization which was 1956. Do you have any idea about the time?
@DeathSeller The name of this is not arrogance but diplomacy, Chairman Mao allowed negotiations with the United States for the good of China, China was in isolationism suffering US sanctions and embargoes. Just as Stalin negotiated with Germans in 39, Mao did the same in 72
@Prole ́17 Not. Deng became powerlord somewhere in late seventees. Relation with USSR was broken up some decades earlier mainly because of bureaucratic elite led by Khrushchev.
@Prole ́17 Actually, USSR made betrayal somewhere about 1956 and after that is just revisionism policy. China never betrayed socialism. Actually, it change them in some other way.
