I've just subscribed to your channel. thank you for this fabulous tutorial. so glad i came across you. i got to try making these. when you say 1/2 tsp to the size of a gold ball what do you mean. thank you once again. off to check out your other videos x
Thanks Louisa for your lovely comment :-) If you look at the link in the comments with the blog post there is a hyperlink at the bottom of the blog that links to the download file - hope that helps!!! xx
Hi how long do you let your gum paste sit for? I have left for about half an hour but each time it cracks at edges when I put the top part onto the soul. Thanks sue
Did you add a hardening agent to your fondant? I add tylo powder so it turns into gumpaste. Gum paste wont crack but fondant will. Gum paste will also dry much faster.
These are too cute! Thank you for the tutorial :) How much tylo do you put in the fondant? Do you let the fondant rest through the night in an air tight container before modeling it for it to bond better? Thank you :)
Hi :-) I usually just sprinkle it out... I think the correct amount is 1/2 teaspoon for a gold ball size of fondant. And you will need to work it as soon as it is mixed so it doesn't harden! All the best! x
ooh that is such a tricky question! It really depends on the thickness of the show and the size! A big fist size should be plenty - You can always buy a 1kilo bag and keep it sealed and use it for your next project! xx
Hi Teresa :-) I can't add a www link in these comments (youtube doesnt allow it) but if you go up to the description, the link to my blog post which has the template is there. Thanks x
