The reason that many animals, at least aquatic ones, have that colour difference between the top and bottom is for camouflage, it’s called counter shading and it baisically just makes it look like it’s belly blends in with the surface and it’s top side is designed to blend in with the depths, I’m not sure about why with land animals but that’s why sharks have it
Ik sry that fact also real too Some animal have a diffrent color for "camouflage reason" Example if not sea animal it a polar bear The white color you see is just the fur used to warm it up and hide it in snow literall it skin had black color
One thing I recommend if you are in a situation and need to run away, tap the control button. It is the ambush button and makes you go run faster but takes away stamina quicker. Not all creatures have it, mostly carnivores and some omnivores, but if you have a bunny plushie you get an ambush on the creature you put it on. Hope this helps!
Loved the arctic grey nose and YES these are definitely meant to move in a pack! I have seen it done and it is a terrifying sight. A group of about 3 can kill a full grown hygos pretty quickly and can take at least a few hits from it and survive. Had a pack of about 8 running around in one server and the only counter we could do were flying creatures with breath
itd probably be getting the winter tag in the next update, also at 19:27 if you went to the left behind the tree there is a secret cave in it! you were doing pretty good against the hellion tho
The thing about Teinook is that I think its Winter Immunity is bugged, also I love the Arctic themed one. Fun fact for the question on why animals have lighter underbellies and darker backs is that it's to create balance. If a creature has too many dark components then it doesn't blend in due to absorbing way more light than its environment, the lighter underbelly balances it out so it blends in more.
Oooo the Pink Tipped Bristle Back has to be my favourite it’s colors are very nice the brown and pink really look good together! And the animation for it are actually okay it’s not too bad except for the aggro i expected it to be in a defensive postion and tail high swishing while they were growling/hissing i think that whould have looked better in my oppinion ! As for the rest of the skins i like the Greater Pink Hide it reminds me alot of pink panther and gives me memories of it! As for the Artic Grey Nose looks good the colors are nice and calm not too bright! As for the model i like it! Since sabertooths looks so cool! And it has such cool tusks! It’s so large and it’s so adoreable how it picks up it’s cubs/kits up with them!! And it’s funny how instead of the food being picked up by the tusks as the descreption said it’s on it’s eyes! Love your content as always! (Also: sorry for making them too long! Your videos are always fun and things happen so suddenly! Like how that hellion warden suddenly attacked you for no reason.)

Fun fact: Teinook is a heavy creature, it can deal serious dmg to JOTS and too any tier 4 and lower creature Teinook can carry an aolenus, jot, a teen hygos (maybe a full grown) and basically anything lower tier (from my experience using my Teinook) !!DONT FORGET TO LIKE ON ALL THE VIDEOS & SUB!!😁😁
Also Teinook can also beat a Gyro which is a tier 5! This is based on my personal experience, I wasn't fully grown and was attacked by a full grown Gyro which also used earthquake on me and I managed to kill it with ease I was also able to take on a Sar' and a Luxsces despite both having higher damage and health! (also might I add I had heavy lag while fighting them and they still ran) Teinook is a real good creature if used properly!

Interesting tip! Create a pack and look for who to invite it will tell you what most of the creatures in the server that way so if you want to hunt something small check the invite list to see if it exists!
Teinook isnt actually that lonely, theres another sabertooth creature called ``Tarakotu`` and i think its also based on a sabertooth, by the way i think there brothers :>

I really love the design of it because its base on smilodon and it's great for ambushing at night using black and Grey colors
