Your doing it online? You can ask your teacher the questions and they will try to answer them or they can contact someone else who can help. I'm a graduate and may be able to answer them too
You mention Francis MacNutt. He left the Catholic priesthood and it seems he became an Episcopalian.
Did the Holy Spirit tell him to do that?
He wanted to be a married priest. You have free will to ignore the Holy Spirit. That doesn't void his work.
I am not sure how some Priest can obtain permission to married, but I hear few Catholic Priests are married. Its sad, when a Priest left his Vocation.
