You ask for feedback from Fisker Ocean One owners - here’s mine. I have been owner since September last year. There has been software issues but also several improvements and fixes along the way. The build quality is fine and I do not agree with many of the negative comments that have surfaced from CarWow and Marques Brownley and the latest report you refer to. I am a previous owner and driver of Model Y and Jaguar Ipace. I like the drive and handling of the my Fisker much better that than the Model Y. The interior materials of the Fisker cannot compare to the premium feel of leather seats in the Ipace, however the Fisker has made the use of recycled materials a KSP. After nearly 6 months there are still key features which I paid for that has not yet been rolled out e.g. Adaptive cruise control, torque vectoring and several ADAS functions - although promised to be rolled out during Q2 this year. All in all I love the design and the drive, althogh impatiently waiting for the software to be updated in line with the specifications. If they manage that, I will be holding on and enjoy the ride in this vehicle for years to come
@@EVNewsDailyEVNewsDaily is basically spreading rumors. What is the point to spread the rumors??? "It's great to hear a balanced take", this "balanced take" is from the real owner, the opposite take is from bloggers or short market players.
@@EVNewsDailyFisker, as the stock, one of most shorted. Why review something that it will not be true in 1-2 weeks from his report? I do not know.
Fake sounds? How about fake smells as well to recreate the full ICE experience. Also throw in fake oil leaks while your at it. My go to fake sound is the playing card flutter against bicycle spokes.
I’d like to try the fake gear changes in the IONIQ 5 N m, where it cuts the power for a moment to simulate going up through a gearbox, because it sounds like an odd thing to spend money on. But it might be good
Hey Martyn! I don’t own a Fisker but I do own a Polestar 2 MY24 LR RWD that I absolutely love. I meant to let you know it has even faster charging and I regularly see 170kw right up to 35 per cent. I also get a real world range of 480km at 90 per cent. It was so refreshing to hear you say it was easy to charge and travel. That is my message with my epic Polestar road trips -I’m headed to the Western Australia border next month to document the charging infrastructure- stay tuned to my channel for the journey!
I listen to TH-cam content for a good part of the day in the background during work and on my drive. Often times, I increased the speed to 1.25… As much as 1.75, depending on the presenter Been listening to Martyn for at least a year… And I just figured out today at .75 speed I don’t have to rewind quite as much to pick up what I missed, and it helps stretch out his roughly 30 minute videos to close to 40 minutes, which is good. Thanks for what you do buddy!
The new EPA rules expanding to more flexibility for fuel sources is okay. As long as we don’t see another dieselgate. No more false claims of efficiency.
The smart move for Ford would be a Maverick EV. The current Maverick is far more popular that Ford expected and is currently production limited to about 100k per year. It's also based on the global C2 platform that underpins the Bronco Sport, Escape/Kuga, Edge, Lincoln Zephyr, etc so that development costs can be spread out and more than one EV can be built on it in the US and overseas. The truck would be the easiest to develop and would be great for fleet customers who use small trucks for deliveries, etc.
Everyone agrees the Fisker Ocean is a fabulous looking car, and Magna are a heavy hitting car manufacturer... certainly do hope that Fisker can keep going....
I'm fine with "sounds of emotion" in EVs but we'll see about the execution. Yes, as long as the owner can turn it off, or maybe offer a couple choices and a volume control? People are used to sound changing with acceleration as part of the natural feedback of driving.
Brutal reviews need to be seen as an "opportunity to excel". Not to mention the free publicity. Ask Tesla about their early reviews. Ask Sandy Munro, whose fame arose from their publicized reviews of early Model 3, about "panel gaps". Before that, who heard of Sandy Munro or "panel gaps" other than industry insiders?
I totally agree buy and hold just bought another 30000 shares today! Don’t panic sell tho buy and hold no matter what and it’ll just go up up up! FSR all in!🎉🎉🎉❤
Fisker needs to provide the best one to Marcus again to update reviewing! Great concept of the car! much better than TESLA! Problem is small that software was just an update problem sounds like.
300+ miles from 72kWh seven seater??!! I want to see it tested. if this is real and price is confirmed this is no brainer.. but I will remain sceptical for a while.
So Elon already responded about the 15 or so Cybertrucks. They weren't sent out of the factory looking like this, but an incorrectectly torque setting meant that they worked loose out in the field. It's already been corrected in production. Not a biggie.
Did he say they worked loose after delivery, or between factory and service centre? I keep seeing forum posts of people unhappy with the vehicles at handover (although people always take the trucks home!) but being told to book a SC appt to have things tweaked or scratches polished out. Surely in the first few weeks of deliveries every single one should have an extra bit of love to make sure they’re perfect? Or am I expecting too much?
I drive through the entire east coast. Especially when in ski season. Or to visit family in Florida. Just moving around the Washington DC are will eat 300 miles in a day or two
Re: the Cyber truck IMO it's absolutely HIDEOUS looking....perfect for a Deuche bag driver who's DESPERATE for attention and thinks somehow it will make them "cool".
MKBHD better hope he didn't have a short position on Fisker at the time of his publishing of "The worst car ever". Market manipulation could catch some time in the big house
Martyn - investors have already dumped Fisker's stock there is no coming back from a $28 stock to a $0.13 cent stock. Fisker is in talks to a possible bankruptcy.
And without being privy to any secret sauce Fisker might have been hiding (doubtful), why are Nissan being talked about as a potential rescuer? What can Fisker do that Nissan staff can’t?
FSR is not Fisker... Nissan could be the reason Fisker is holding so much inventory and stopped putting out Dealership press releases even though they added Norway and others. Nissan dealerships could be next after software updates and 10 K financials. ?

The panel gap is a silly comment… it is a slipped door close mechanism… not a panel gap. That is a different thing..
Just had a quick look and as of now it’s at 2 million views of MKBHD calling it a panel gap in his review. Seems damaging.
