This video brought back memories of me arriving on an overnight bus to Matsuyama and walking at 4:30 AM on the shopping streets(there are two forming a mirrored L shape, Gintengai and Okaido) to my hotel. Not only was it a vibe, but the fact that I could walk alone with a suitcase and didn't have to worry too much is testament to how safe Japan is. Forget about New York, I wouldn't even do it here in Warsaw, but I didn't even need to think twice about it because I was in Japan.
Hello all Akiya hunters, regret to inform that there's quite a lot of problem with this house hence the low price. 1st, no sewerage discharge via any means except sump pump by service providers. 2nd, expanding cemetery just next to the house, pls see google map under terrain mode 😱etc.
@@PastelP-b4u I totally agree with you. In fact, by my grandmother's house in nigata. There's a beautiful cemetery there and I love to go and stroll there. The idea of living around the ghost the ghosts of the past to me is a nice one.... However, near a cemetery for some people freaks them out. So it could be a slight liquidity issue... In other words, if you had your house priced well, it would take 3 months to sell as opposed two...
I hear that it is very easy to move to Japan - obtaining a visa is very straightforward and not stringent. At least not when compared to obtaining a visa for US,UK,Germany, etc and a lot of people go to those places. Therefore,if people can make it to US,UK,Germany,France, etc, then they can make it to Japan a lot easier and it is a lot cheaper ,the application cost
I think it's a smart property and I liked it I would love to try to get it if I was there and it was still available when I get there but I am really hoping that you can find something for me in yokosuka or atsugi something small and maybe one bedroom two bedroom DK that would be wonderful it doesn't have to have parking it doesn't have to have all I need is something available cheap that I can renovate my
I think we did a video of one property. It's coming up soon. You could always mail Daniel at the site and he'll get it to you early. Not much cheap stuff in yokoska... Thanks for watching Bruce
@@CheapPropertyJapan I would like a place like this in Enoshima or maybe Okinawa. Ghost or no ghost. Even for double the price. Fun fact: Enoshima is where California's Governor "moonbeam" Brown lived during his political exile.
@@whitesamuraiI've been looking in both places. And there's nothing really cheap. Okinawa market looks really strong. We made a video for smart property Japan TH-cam channel on Okinawa.
Can you guys do video about climate zones in Japan? For example, in Panama i can find perfect 20C year round if above 1000 meters above sea level. Do you have something close to that in japan? If so, where?

Buying isn't the problem, getting to live there legally is the issue. What is the criteria for a foreigner to live there?
Lots of red tape and you have learn to read and write and speak.
You just need a visa. Lots of ways of getting one: smartpropertyjapan.com/getting-a-visa-in-japan
@@saltycoffe1631Yes lots of hard and enjoyable work lm...

I am guessing Japanese don't want this place because of the ghost.
Ghost included at no charge. Deal.

Stable/warm would be Okinawa. Rest of the country has temperature swings.
