i can’t forget how some people were downplaying jimin’s chronic neck/back muscle pain when we saw him wearing medical tapes. he is 25 and already has chronic pains and he knows he will suffer from them his whole career.. yet he comes out and gives his best. they all do. they all give their everything. every single performance. as fans we should appreciate and respect their hard work and not underestimate their pains. please

The whole fandom followed them and dismissed that Jimin can actually have a chronic condition until in one of their contents, the personal physician of BTS himself clarified that Jimin had a chronic back condition which he will have to deal with as long as he's in this line of work and even after that life long. Still he works this hard for "army" and this is what he gets in return... shame on such fans TBH
At 3:13 the video showed Yoongi holding his shoulder he was in pain. And that comes from the car accident he had pre debut. It saddens me knowing he didn’t tell anybody because he was scared but now he has to live with that pain everyday

Jungkook hurting his foot was actually in London in 2018 right before the concert. I was there in the O2 Arena and we were waiting for the show to start but they were running late. And then all of a sudden they made an announcement that Jungkook hurt himself a little while ago so he won't be participating in the choreo, he will just sit on the stage. I remember everybody freaking out and then they just kinda wheeled him in on a small platform with a chair and the staff was moving him around the stage through out the whole concert. By the end of the show he felt so bad about it and was crying so hard, at one point he actually got up to go behind the stage. Jimin run after him to get him back. He was crying really hard even during the ending ment, we were screaming our lungs out and chanting his name to try and cheer him up a bit to show that we love him and don't care if he's dancing or not. Poor boy was so apologetic, I can't even remember how many times he apologized because of his injury.
@@ZoeDelToro Oh I know believe me, half of our attention was always on him, he was a mess, poor guy. I think they were doing Anpanman when he got up to go off stage when the others were out on the extended stage and he was alone on the main one. There are fancams about it. Jimin needed to run after him to bring him back. After that they didn't leave him alone, somebody always stayed with him on the main stage.
2018 was such a reckless year for them, I remember crying about Kookie's injury and also when Jimin got ill and wasn't able to attend some of their schedules :(
for their 2017 concert here in Chile he was really in a bad condition, but he was in front of me many times and I can tell you he looked at his best, he really gave it all and lifted up the mood of everyone in my section when he got close. I really wouldn't have noticed what happened if not for the documentary.
Jungkook cut his foot accidentally in the bathroom. He couldn't dance on the stage. He was just sitting on the chair during whole concerts. He even cried several times. He was so exhausted. He deserves all the love 😥💜
The first one when jungkook passed put was because he was so exhausted, he trained a lot and gave more than 100% in the performance, the second one jungkook cut himself while training before performing, he had 2 stiches and was banned from performing for a long while that he had to sit on a chair, there is another one that wasn't mentioned is when someone fell on him and he hurt his hand before performing fire, you can wach jungkook getting hurt after saving a life
That was an actor at an awards show; where he was on the life below the stage about to raise up with the others at other points. The actor was exiting the stage while talking and did not pay attention to the open lift door and fell down 6ft on top of Jk. After a brief med check, Jk joined the others on staged to perform. I believe they did fire. And he had to baby a few minor injuries but you could hardly tell in the footage. You could see that his shoulder was bothering him and he was sore but that was it. The actor later came out and stated on TV that Jk of BTS saved his life, and told the story how.Then the footage was shown. Way to go Jk. When Jk is on the floor in the room, it was during their first trip to Chile. BTS had never experienced heat and humidity like Chile, so they suffered during the first tour. Jk and Jimin struggled a lot. Burn the Stage shows a lot of the group's behind the stage life. It is worth watching in order to understand the full scope.
Armys has always wanted them to take break. We were happy when they took a break for 2 months but they still ended up working on their solo stuff like mixtapes etc even on their break. So yeah bangtan are workaholics but I do hope they take their health seriously.
This was the reason that made armies so happy when the boys announced a vacation last year. They were clearly overworking themselves. On the first day of vacation Jimin went on vlive and said how he slept for 10 hours, did nothing, had something to eat and then went live to talk to the fans. My whole TL was celebrating that as a national holiday. It seems that now they have it in a more balanced way. But still we regularly tell them to rest, to eat well and to put their health first.
3:09 Yoongi's shoulder; he mentioned in Burn The Stage that when he was a trainee his shoulder got hit/collided with a car. He didn't tell the company in fear of being ejected from the company.
this is not a good video at all, it's so chaotic and just edited poorly. This doesn't justify boys' hard work. I've seen others videos where they explain every injury and fall, so you won't end up like Sam did here, rewinding and not realising what happened in the clip.
@@sumiland6145 yeah, I hope he will choose videos for reactions carefully. Also I wish armys would recommend those videos that have explanation to them and not just cuts from different things. Sam is still new to this big bangtan world and a lot of times he doesn't understand what's happening unlike us. I love his reactions and I wish for him to understand and feel the same way as we do while watching.
Jungkook cut his heal while practising in bathroom during LY tour 2018 and had to perform sitting on stage on lots of concerts. That was what the bandaid was for.
in the clip of hobi coughing he inhaled the firework smoke which made him cough. he had to walk off stage after their performance but he came back quickly ! the fireworks often cause problems on stage in these performances.
After Namjoons backstage scene he performed the last two songs while smiling and going/dancing/running on the stage and no one noticed he was injured until the backstage scene was released (feel free to correct me). I really hope they don't overwork themselves, the had a break last year, but it didn't lasted as long as I'd wanted it to. 💜BTSxARMY fighting💜
you haven't seen burn the stage or break the silence dude , trust it brought me to tears at how dedicated they are, and i guess you don't know Yoongi had an accident during debut days and he did not tell anyone because he was scared that they will kick him out of the group and thats why he is always massaging his shoulder.
That moment Yoongi heldhis shoulders. He got into an accident and broke one of his arms when he was working at a part time job delivering food back in the day.
a few clips that u saw of jungkook were from when he hurt his heel, i believe it was. cause he hit the floor furnishings. he had to get stitches and couldnt perform. he used crutches because he couldnt walk on it. or used a wheel chair to go quicker. during the concerts he just sat on a chair when the others had to dance. it was so sad, yet our bby kookie still smiled through it
the last clip was of jimin passing out after his stage. that was the time where jimin was getting a lot of hate for his looks and he began to think he was too fat, so he went on an EXTREMELY strict diet. He wasn’t getting enough nutrients so after that stage he just completely fainted. this clip rly hurts me thinking that just 10 seconds before, jimin was performing so hard and acting all happy then just collapses from exhaustion and malnutrition. and yes those cup things u saw were oxygen inhalers. they have those backstage cuz they often have a hard time breathing especially when sometimes they have to perform 4 or 5 intense choreographed songs without a break. it’s really sad how much they put themselves through to make armys happy to the point where they’re risking their health and their lives :(
This just shows the boys really goes all out for their fans...as you can see every concerts they held they always use those oxygen cans back stage when theyre out of breath and the boys wanted to make their shows as perfect as possible...even the slightest mistake/injury mid-show will make the members feel guilty cuz they werent able to show their full potential🥺💜
A side of BTS that we rarely see. That they wish we would not see, but honestly it made me love them more - how they get up from their fall and still try their best. They're very humble for this world.
There are so many points from so many years here in this compilation. They do overwork themselves sometimes - Jin has done it and Jimin has and in those cases they they do take days off for recovery. These guys are like world class athletes in that they use their bodies to the utmost and then have support teams to help them recoup, recover and mend before the next game or contest. And a lot of times, the oxygen is used after a stage automatically because there is a altitude difference between the last stop on tour and this one. If you watch the documentary series, you would get a better context for how these things happen on a tour. Please please please Don’t think to blame the stage crews. There is risk in what BTS do, the travelling and such - every place the stage crew set up their stages is not at the same level of condition or repair, and every country has a different way of healthcare. The staff have to try to be completely self sufficient because going to a hospital or to see a doctor is straight up trusting strangers with one of your most important people and that is scary as all hell especially when not everyone knows the same language.
sammy, i don't think you know this: jimin is a contemporary dancer, and can easily do the splits in both directions. it didn't hurt him that much, it was just for fun
These guys give every ounce of themselves to Army. They're true artists, yes, and they understand that each show is a make or break moment. They're doing what they were destined to do. They're gladiators in the arena and they'll fight to the death for their art. If I could breathe more life into these amazing guys I would do it. I wish them all the best. They deserve it.
They really do work so hard, sometimes they have to get literally dragged out of the stage after performances because they cant even walk out, the last video was after jimin's performance with taemin (I think you reacted to it?) and you can see how he was smiling and playing it cool while walking off the stage bc the fans could see him, but as soon as he walked behind the wall he literally collapsed on the floor. I do think they're overworked but not necessarily forced into it, they have a crazy busy schedule but theyre bts, they are so incredibly solicited all over the world, and the members themselves are extremely hardworking, I feel like even if their company told them they dont have to do it they would still go and do it. The only thing I'm glad about is that even through the crazy schedule their company takes good care of them and they do get to rest, I feel like we tend to forget bts literally started from nothing and they had to work their asses off to get where they are, those tendencies of giving their 110% just to be recognized probably will last forever
after the performances, the guys crawl across the stage behind the scenes, breathing ate, lying on the floor for a long time while breathing into an oxygen mask ... To some (especially haters) from the outside, it may seem that drinking water or not getting enough oxygen is nothing special, oh, if only this was limited ... Jimin has a chronic disease in his legs (he often has to go to massage to relax the ligaments and muscles, and this cannot be treated, it will continue for him until the moment he dances), it was also such that he pulled the ligaments on his legs when he was on rehearsals (it seems like nothing like that, well, it will lie down for a couple of days and that's it, but because of this he could not perform at the show with Gramm, then Hooke also had a problem with his foot, just imagine what a failure it was for them, how psychologically it put pressure on them ) or when he was on a diet and pestered himself with endless rehearsals, his body simply could not cope and he often fainted; Jungkook had a leg (heel) injury all this happened during the tour, he could not dance (how did he blame himself for this, because of this not a single concert took place without his tears), he also had a back injury; Gene has a tailbone injury (oh, I remember his screams already in a shiver); Jun has injuries to his fingers, and also something with his legs (there was a moment when he just could not get up); Hobie often has leg cramps; Taehyung had something like a sore throat (during the tour) he literally lost his voice (I remember how he cried when Armies sang his part); and Yoongi, when he was a trainee, had an accident and severely injured his shoulder / shoulder blade, he even hid it from the agency and the guys because he was afraid that he would be kicked out, and it seems like 9-10 years have passed, but the shoulder still makes itself felt to such an extent that he holds his hand ate (and this is because he gets tired at rehearsals and concerts), or, for example, when he injured his ear (and he could not perform at the awards in 2016), or when he was found to have appendicitis (and everything came to the fact that it would have been a little bit more and he would have died), in my opinion, it was in Japan and he was urgently transported to Korea because for some reason he could not undergo surgery in Japan (he was in the hospital for about 2 weeks, missed a sports Olympiad and concert), although this problem is not very related to performances, it is connected with the fact that he missed important events for the group, which subsequently affect their health and reputation (no matter how sad it was, but it's true). Yeah it is a little depressing seeing this but it also just shows what they really go through after the performances. And the last one broke my heart the most because Jimin literally fainted/collapsed as he got backstage :( there is another video that shows some of their accidents that weren't shown in this video. There was one where they performed DNA and at the end I think it was Jin maybe? I don't remember.. but one of the members had to kinda hold V up because he was at the brink of collapsing. And in the video where you saw Jimin's shirt ripped when they looked really young, RM's was ripped too. At least some of them were funny because a couple of these were just because of clumsiness but they ended up being okay. But when Jungkook had to sit on a stool to perform for one of the performances they had, he started crying and Jimin ran back to him to comfort him, it was cute!
yoongi had a dislocated shoulder I believe or does he still have it? He never told the company during his trainee days after getting into an accident afraid they will kick him out. Also he was on bad terms with his parents and had left home to pursue his career[its all good now]. He cant B-boy anymore.
he can still feel the pain of it i believe, during one of their black swan performances at the beginning of this year, you can see him not raising his left arm because of the pain
If you don't tread a dislocated shoulder properly or not at all, there is a lot of damage which could be caused to muscles, nerves and joints. Especially it becomes inflamed. I have 3 numb fingers because of a badly treated tendonitis. And this is minor injury compared to a dislocated shoulder
Please do take into consideration that they have a whole crew working with them, including medics and health advisors. So every decision they make about how far they can push themselves and whether or not they can keep performing is not taken lightly. Nor by the members and neither by their team. And of bloody course they are exhausted. They do 2.5-3 hours shows with intense choreography. Like, I'm sorry, but you have to be really naïve to think it wouldn't tale a toll on them. Okay, the longer I watch this video the more I realise it's the compilation's fault. Sammy, please watch the three docu series, because they discuss these situations there. But basically JK had one foot injury, and one major fainting episode, and Jimin has chronic back pain (also Yoongi has shoulder pain from an old injury and Seokjin also has a chronic condition. I'm not sure about the other three.) But yeah, it's... not ideal, but also it's something they always take into consideration when they talk about their future performances.
yeah, i agree, the way different events are chopped up into parts and mixed up in this compilation makes it seem like there so many more severe events. And thank god for their medical team and staff in general, they are well looked after. And they also watch out for each other. I remember several discussions where 6 members were trying to convince one injured member to take it easy and focus on recovery more than that one performance.

Any one of these incidents is still one too many. They might have all the support they need but I still think they overextend themselves. Some of these casualties could be prevented with less rigorous routines and smart choreography. They're conditioned to go hard and I get the ethic but it's still tough to see. I pray they treat themselves better. The world need them whole. Sweet lads.💜
BTS work 12-16 hours a day, always practicing choreographies, writing & producing music, making extra content, almost every single aspect of their lives are caught on camera. That’s one of the dark sides of kpop, they get almost no privacy, and almost no room to rest. In Asia, there’s literally a term called “dying from exhaustion” because THAT’S HOW HARD THEY WORK. And do you know what’s disgusting? THEY GET HATE FOR IT. Jungkook injured himself bad and couldn’t perform for a while, and people hated on him for getting injured! He works so much for us, and then people dare to have the audacity to do that. It’s so so so sad, honestly.
Hmmm, they often over exert themselves and need oxygen when coming off stage. Jimin and Jungkook in particular. Jimin seems to have learned. The latter simply goes too hard. Hobi had to give him serious advice about how to manage and conserve his energy when performing. That time when he fainted, he had everyone worried. They are now more aware.

The video where jungkook had to lie down he was so exhausted that he had to be hospitalized, but he still finished the concert because he wanted to be able to say good bye to army since they were in a foreign country. And the one where he hurt his foot was actually really serious. He got a huge gash on his foot and wasnt aloud to preform for a long time because he had to have a BUNCH of stitches.
This is so, so heart breaking and yet totally necessary to see. A must for all Army really. People tend to enjoy all glitz and glam of Kpop, taking BTS and their flawless performances as a given and a guarantee of perfection, not realizing what´s really behind it, totally dismissing this side of their daily routines. When people start throwing " they are so hard working" accolades around in abundance , directing them randomly to the acts that perform 1/10 of what BTs is doing, I feel like showing them THIS video. They have been through pain, injuries and exhaustion and yet always giving it their 110%. Moments like these have been recorded many times over and over on various fan cams, when their performance ends, lights going off and them collapsing to the floor, crawling on all four, thinking they are out of sights. Crazy man, crazy.....
What i likes about BTS is they always give their best in every stage. I rmbr in one of their concert, they always have 3 days for concert n each days, it's the same schedule n songs n choreo n vcr. But jk said they had to give their best in each day even though it's the second or third day because in second or third days, it could Armys who just came for the first time to the concert that day so they cant like give different stages for each day because its unfair to some Armys who didnt come to all three days of the concert. It's mean they always repeatedly dancing to same songs for 3 days for like 2 hours, that wasn't include the rehearsal n practice. The fact that they didn't dancing soullessly but with most energy made me loves them more

BTS LOVEE performing and touring. Their choreographies are super exhausting and detailed but their adrenaline is just boosted because of the crowd, the stage, and everything so sometimes they go too hard. They have talked about this before where they know they shouldn’t go that hard but that’s what makes it look good on stage. Jhope has also adviced them to pace themselves because jimin and jk especially go really hard in performing. Imagine having a set list so tiring, you have to pace yourself like an athlete or marathon runner. These guys are seriously hard workers.
When jungkook hurted his foot they were on a world tour he can’t perform on the stage he sit the chair during the performances. He was very upset, cried a lot and apologized to his fans
also, for context: the boys tend to have a hard time specially when they’re performing in places with hot weather. if the choreo is too intense, like dionysus or idol, they also tend to get exhausted. they always push themselves to the max, they wanna give their best every single time, specially knowing some people in the audience might not ever get to see them live again. it’s really sad seeing them like this, but it’s something they chose to share on a few occasions.
3:07 sam, suga had injuries before.. and the pain sometimes come when he exhausted.. if you notice, in some performance he's not move his shoulder really well because it's painful.. and he rub his shoulder afterwards.. Even when the interview, sometimes we can see him touching his shoulder
This is one of the things I admire about BTS, is that they are not afraid to show when they are ill/tired from performing. It does show that they are human as well. No other artist that I know, would show this side of them. 💞💞💞
I know I'm seven months too late, but... They spoke about those fireworks before. They are trained to move as a formation, and they do that perfectly. But, as a formation they tend to drift around the stage and they ended up too close to fireworks a few times.
Sammy don't worry! they do overwork themselves during tours sometimes and get injured, but they are professionals and know what they are doing. They always learn from it, and their staff is always SO helpful whenever something happens. They take care of themselves and each other well, so don't worry too much :')
It's really interesting watching this reaction as a performer myself, because I look at stuff like this and I'm like "yeah, this is accurate to being on stage and the rehearsal process", but I so easily forget that non-performers aren't used to knowing about what goes on behind the scenes, so it's SUPER interesting to get to watch those sorts of viewpoints
15:04 they just did a performance and the fireworks got so close to jhope that the smoke got into his lungs and all in his face which explains why he was coughing, he was badly affected and was quite ill afterwords but still performed more songs, so strong

I'm with you about how depresing these videos can be. They really go beyond their limits, they really want to give their best at their performances and also like RM said one time at an interview, "they are enjoying the ride" because they don't know how long ther fame and being at the top would last, they really want to share their messages before their status changes. Unfortunately on this industry they have like an "expiration date", a lot of artists careers decline after their 30s, which they are very aware what they are living now would not last for a very long time. I really hope their legacy stays for many generations. additional: this video was poorly edited, the part that shows J-Hope coughing was because he inhaled smoke from the fire work dring the preformance.
They don’t force them they do it because they want to give their all. What’s crazy is u can’t tell by watching them on stage they try not to show it until the lights go off or they go down the stairs. It’s heart breaking to see but they r perfectionist and even JK has said it might be somebody’s first time seeing them so they want to give it their all. 💜 The good thing is they have a good company and don’t force BTS to do anything they don’t want to do on the contrary they will say hey if u want just sit out for a bit or the show is almost over why don’t you rest and they say no they want to go back up on stage. 🥺
BTS put great pride into their performances and often remind each other that they are pros. Or, they also say "you can't be like an amateur". On the other end of the spectrum, it also causes them to be upset or be very self-critical. Sometimes they feel like they failed the audience when in truth, the fans didn't notice anything amiss!
All of them always gives 100% on live stage performance but jungkook and jimin always dance till they break their bones, they give 200% and always put power to their performances .That's why you can see jk and jimin more in this video .Even jhope said that jk dances until he breaks his bones.All the seven members passion towards music is insane.
JHope was coughing because of the smoke from fireworks on stage he had to go off and get a drink of water as he couldn’t stop coughing. Jimin and Jungkook are known for giving it their all and sometimes with the heat they come off stage and just drop needing oxygen and fluids quickly. They are often seen having ice packs put on them to cool them down. Jungkook cut his foot but they edited it so it looked like he hurt it a number of times. Jin suffered with neck pain through their dance moves as well as Jimin’s chronic neck and shoulder pains plus he has injured both knees during their dances. They now travel with medical people that help them thankfully.

bts aren't overworked by the producrion crew. they always do them to themselves since before they even debuted. when they were on tour we were very worried for them, esp when we got the news about injury of one member, then the other. but at the same time all we can do is respect their choice, because if you work so hard and all you get in response is "please don't do it" it's only empty words that don't show any appreciation to what they do. they do get proper medical treatment and that's the only thing i am not worried for. we try to support them as much as we can and the boys say that during tours they feel tuly alive so
A lot of these happened on tour which are back to back shows of 3 hours long intense choero and singing and if you have seen their tour schedule it's pretty hectic and then in 2018, I think it was, they had the korean awards season right after they had a world tour. If u watch their year end performances you can tell that they were so tired but they still give it their all so much that a non fan would not even notice it.
their production team doesn't overwork them, they just give it their all at concerts and sometimes go overboard and hurt themselves :( they downplay it by laughing around and also to lighten the atmosphere but they've injured themselves quite a lot.

One of Hobi's movements in We Are Bulletin Pt.2 used his knee.He knelt on the floor, injured his thigh and blood was taken from his thigh. I remember one time when they were on the plane, the other members were sleeping, and hobi couldn't stand to sleep because of the pain in his knee. But now hobi told JK that professional artists need to be able to adjust themselves,and while they will certainly do their best to show their fans on stage, staying within their limits is also a sign of professionalism. They do give everything.
i like that this video says that it was a firework thing that hurt jin. in another video it doesn't specify that and many people that watch it don't understand.
This is one of the reasons why ARMYs loves BTS so much, bcos they always gave their 100% and more in their every performance, and the least that ARMYs could do is to give our 300% love for them too

At 3:13 the video showed Yoongi holding his shoulder he was in pain. And that comes from the car accident he had pre debut. It saddens me knowing he didn’t tell anybody because he was scared but now he has to live with that pain everyday

Jungkook hurting his foot was actually in London in 2018 right before the concert. I was there in the O2 Arena and we were waiting for the show to start but they were running late. And then all of a sudden they made an announcement that Jungkook hurt himself a little while ago so he won't be participating in the choreo, he will just sit on the stage. I remember everybody freaking out and then they just kinda wheeled him in on a small platform with a chair and the staff was moving him around the stage through out the whole concert. By the end of the show he felt so bad about it and was crying so hard, at one point he actually got up to go behind the stage. Jimin run after him to get him back. He was crying really hard even during the ending ment, we were screaming our lungs out and chanting his name to try and cheer him up a bit to show that we love him and don't care if he's dancing or not. Poor boy was so apologetic, I can't even remember how many times he apologized because of his injury.

I think they were doing Anpanman when he got up to go off stage when the others were out on the extended stage and he was alone on the main one. There are fancams about it. Jimin needed to run after him to bring him back. After that they didn't leave him alone, somebody always stayed with him on the main stage.
2018 was such a reckless year for them, I remember crying about Kookie's injury and also when Jimin got ill and wasn't able to attend some of their schedules :(

for their 2017 concert here in Chile he was really in a bad condition, but he was in front of me many times and I can tell you he looked at his best, he really gave it all and lifted up the mood of everyone in my section when he got close. I really wouldn't have noticed what happened if not for the documentary.

The first one when jungkook passed put was because he was so exhausted, he trained a lot and gave more than 100% in the performance, the second one jungkook cut himself while training before performing, he had 2 stiches and was banned from performing for a long while that he had to sit on a chair, there is another one that wasn't mentioned is when someone fell on him and he hurt his hand before performing fire, you can wach jungkook getting hurt after saving a life

That was an actor at an awards show; where he was on the life below the stage about to raise up with the others at other points. The actor was exiting the stage while talking and did not pay attention to the open lift door and fell down 6ft on top of Jk. After a brief med check, Jk joined the others on staged to perform. I believe they did fire. And he had to baby a few minor injuries but you could hardly tell in the footage. You could see that his shoulder was bothering him and he was sore but that was it. The actor later came out and stated on TV that Jk of BTS saved his life, and told the story how.Then the footage was shown. Way to go Jk.
When Jk is on the floor in the room, it was during their first trip to Chile. BTS had never experienced heat and humidity like Chile, so they suffered during the first tour. Jk and Jimin struggled a lot. Burn the Stage shows a lot of the group's behind the stage life. It is worth watching in order to understand the full scope.
They were also at altitude and not adjusted properly so it was really getting to JK

Armys has always wanted them to take break. We were happy when they took a break for 2 months but they still ended up working on their solo stuff like mixtapes etc even on their break. So yeah bangtan are workaholics but I do hope they take their health seriously.

This was the reason that made armies so happy when the boys announced a vacation last year. They were clearly overworking themselves. On the first day of vacation Jimin went on vlive and said how he slept for 10 hours, did nothing, had something to eat and then went live to talk to the fans. My whole TL was celebrating that as a national holiday. It seems that now they have it in a more balanced way. But still we regularly tell them to rest, to eat well and to put their health first.
3:09 Yoongi's shoulder; he mentioned in Burn The Stage that when he was a trainee his shoulder got hit/collided with a car. He didn't tell the company in fear of being ejected from the company.
this is not a good video at all, it's so chaotic and just edited poorly. This doesn't justify boys' hard work. I've seen others videos where they explain every injury and fall, so you won't end up like Sam did here, rewinding and not realising what happened in the clip.

Jungkook cut his heal while practising in bathroom during LY tour 2018 and had to perform sitting on stage on lots of concerts. That was what the bandaid was for.
in the clip of hobi coughing he inhaled the firework smoke which made him cough. he had to walk off stage after their performance but he came back quickly ! the fireworks often cause problems on stage in these performances.

After Namjoons backstage scene he performed the last two songs while smiling and going/dancing/running on the stage and no one noticed he was injured until the backstage scene was released (feel free to correct me). you haven't seen burn the stage or break the silence dude , trust it brought me to tears at how dedicated they are, and i guess you don't know Yoongi had an accident during debut days and he did not tell anyone because he was scared that they will kick him out of the group and thats why he is always massaging his shoulder.
That moment Yoongi heldhis shoulders. He got into an accident and broke one of his arms when he was working at a part time job delivering food back in the day.

a few clips that u saw of jungkook were from when he hurt his heel, i believe it was. cause he hit the floor furnishings. he had to get stitches and couldnt perform. he used crutches because he couldnt walk on it. or used a wheel chair to go quicker. during the concerts he just sat on a chair when the others had to dance. it was so sad, yet our bby kookie still smiled through it
the last clip was of jimin passing out after his stage. that was the time where jimin was getting a lot of hate for his looks and he began to think he was too fat, so he went on an EXTREMELY strict diet. He wasn’t getting enough nutrients so after that stage he just completely fainted. this clip rly hurts me thinking that just 10 seconds before, jimin was performing so hard and acting all happy then just collapses from exhaustion and malnutrition. and yes those cup things u saw were oxygen inhalers. they have those backstage cuz they often have a hard time breathing especially when sometimes they have to perform 4 or 5 intense choreographed songs without a break. it’s really sad how much they put themselves through to make armys happy to the point where they’re risking their health and their lives :(
This just shows the boys really goes all out for their fans...as you can see every concerts they held they always use those oxygen cans back stage when theyre out of breath and the boys wanted to make their shows as perfect as possible...even the slightest mistake/injury mid-show will make the members feel guilty cuz they werent able to show their full potential🥺💜

A side of BTS that we rarely see. That they wish we would not see, but honestly it made me love them more - how they get up from their fall and still try their best. They're very humble for this world.

There are so many points from so many years here in this compilation. They do overwork themselves sometimes - Jin has done it and Jimin has and in those cases they they do take days off for recovery. These guys are like world class athletes in that they use their bodies to the utmost and then have support teams to help them recoup, recover and mend before the next game or contest. And a lot of times, the oxygen is used after a stage automatically because there is a altitude difference between the last stop on tour and this one. If you watch the documentary series, you would get a better context for how these things happen on a tour. Please please please Don’t think to blame the stage crews. There is risk in what BTS do, the travelling and such - every place the stage crew set up their stages is not at the same level of condition or repair, and every country has a different way of healthcare. The staff have to try to be completely self sufficient because going to a hospital or to see a doctor is straight up trusting strangers with one of your most important people and that is scary as all hell especially when not everyone knows the same language.

These guys give every ounce of themselves to Army. They're true artists, yes, and they understand that each show is a make or break moment. They're doing what they were destined to do. They're gladiators in the arena and they'll fight to the death for their art. If I could breathe more life into these amazing guys I would do it. I wish them all the best. They deserve it.

They really do work so hard, sometimes they have to get literally dragged out of the stage after performances because they cant even walk out, the last video was after jimin's performance with taemin (I think you reacted to it?) and you can see how he was smiling and playing it cool while walking off the stage bc the fans could see him, but as soon as he walked behind the wall he literally collapsed on the floor. I do think they're overworked but not necessarily forced into it, they have a crazy busy schedule but theyre bts, they are so incredibly solicited all over the world, and the members themselves are extremely hardworking, I feel like even if their company told them they dont have to do it they would still go and do it. The only thing I'm glad about is that even through the crazy schedule their company takes good care of them and they do get to rest, I feel like we tend to forget bts literally started from nothing and they had to work their asses off to get where they are, those tendencies of giving their 110% just to be recognized probably will last forever

after the performances, the guys crawl across the stage behind the scenes, breathing ate, lying on the floor for a long time while breathing into an oxygen mask ...
To some (especially haters) from the outside, it may seem that drinking water or not getting enough oxygen is nothing special, oh, if only this was limited ...
Jimin has a chronic disease in his legs (he often has to go to massage to relax the ligaments and muscles, and this cannot be treated, it will continue for him until the moment he dances), it was also such that he pulled the ligaments on his legs when he was on rehearsals (it seems like nothing like that, well, it will lie down for a couple of days and that's it, but because of this he could not perform at the show with Gramm, then Hooke also had a problem with his foot, just imagine what a failure it was for them, how psychologically it put pressure on them ) or when he was on a diet and pestered himself with endless rehearsals, his body simply could not cope and he often fainted;

Jun has injuries to his fingers, and also something with his legs (there was a moment when he just could not get up);
Hobie often has leg cramps; Taehyung had something like a sore throat (during the tour) he literally lost his voice (I remember how he cried when Armies sang his part);
and Yoongi, when he was a trainee, had an accident and severely injured his shoulder / shoulder blade, he even hid it from the agency and the guys because he was afraid that he would be kicked out, and it seems like 9-10 years have passed, but the shoulder still makes itself felt to such an extent that he holds his hand ate (and this is because he gets tired at rehearsals and concerts), or, for example, when he injured his ear (and he could not perform at the awards in 2016), or when he was found to have appendicitis (and everything came to the fact that it would have been a little bit more and he would have died), in my opinion, it was in Japan and he was urgently transported to Korea because for some reason he could not undergo surgery in Japan (he was in the hospital for about 2 weeks, missed a sports Olympiad and concert), although this problem is not very related to performances, it is connected with the fact that he missed important events for the group, which subsequently affect their health and reputation (no matter how sad it was, but it's true).
As they always say (when they go on tour) "let's stay healthy", "let's just live to see the end of the tour"

Yeah it is a little depressing seeing this but it also just shows what they really go through after the performances. And the last one broke my heart the most because Jimin literally fainted/collapsed as he got backstage :( there is another video that shows some of their accidents that weren't shown in this video. There was one where they performed DNA and at the end I think it was Jin maybe? I don't remember.. but one of the members had to kinda hold V up because he was at the brink of collapsing. And in the video where you saw Jimin's shirt ripped when they looked really young, RM's was ripped too. At least some of them were funny because a couple of these were just because of clumsiness but they ended up being okay. But when Jungkook had to sit on a stool to perform for one of the performances they had, he started crying and Jimin ran back to him to comfort him, it was cute!
yoongi had a dislocated shoulder I believe or does he still have it? He never told the company during his trainee days after getting into an accident afraid they will kick him out. Also he was on bad terms with his parents and had left home to pursue his career[its all good now]. He cant B-boy anymore.

If you don't tread a dislocated shoulder properly or not at all, there is a lot of damage which could be caused to muscles, nerves and joints. Especially it becomes inflamed. I have 3 numb fingers because of a badly treated tendonitis. And this is minor injury compared to a dislocated shoulder

Please do take into consideration that they have a whole crew working with them, including medics and health advisors. So every decision they make about how far they can push themselves and whether or not they can keep performing is not taken lightly. Nor by the members and neither by their team.
And of bloody course they are exhausted. They do 2.5-3 hours shows with intense choreography. Like, I'm sorry, but you have to be really naïve to think it wouldn't tale a toll on them.
Okay, the longer I watch this video the more I realise it's the compilation's fault. Sammy, please watch the three docu series, because they discuss these situations there. But basically JK had one foot injury, and one major fainting episode, and Jimin has chronic back pain (also Yoongi has shoulder pain from an old injury and Seokjin also has a chronic condition. I'm not sure about the other three.) But yeah, it's... not ideal, but also it's something they always take into consideration when they talk about their future performances.
yeah, i agree, the way different events are chopped up into parts and mixed up in this compilation makes it seem like there so many more severe events.
And thank god for their medical team and staff in general, they are well looked after. And they also watch out for each other. I remember several discussions where 6 members were trying to convince one injured member to take it easy and focus on recovery more than that one performance.

Any one of these incidents is still one too many. They might have all the support they need but I still think they overextend themselves. Some of these casualties could be prevented with less rigorous routines and smart choreography. They're conditioned to go hard and I get the ethic but it's still tough to see. BTS work 12-16 hours a day, always practicing choreographies, writing & producing music, making extra content, almost every single aspect of their lives are caught on camera. That’s one of the dark sides of kpop, they get almost no privacy, and almost no room to rest. In Asia, there’s literally a term called “dying from exhaustion” because THAT’S HOW HARD THEY WORK. And do you know what’s disgusting? THEY GET HATE FOR IT. Jungkook injured himself bad and couldn’t perform for a while, and people hated on him for getting injured! He works so much for us, and then people dare to have the audacity to do that. It’s so so so sad, honestly.
Hmmm, they often over exert themselves and need oxygen when coming off stage. Jimin and Jungkook in particular. Jimin seems to have learned. The latter simply goes too hard. Hobi had to give him serious advice about how to manage and conserve his energy when performing. That time when he fainted, he had everyone worried. They are now more aware.

The video where jungkook had to lie down he was so exhausted that he had to be hospitalized, but he still finished the concert because he wanted to be able to say good bye to army since they were in a foreign country. And the one where he hurt his foot was actually really serious. He got a huge gash on his foot and wasnt aloud to preform for a long time because he had to have a BUNCH of stitches.

This is so, so heart breaking and yet totally necessary to see. A must for all Army really. People tend to enjoy all glitz and glam of Kpop, taking BTS and their flawless performances as a given and a guarantee of perfection, not realizing what´s really behind it, totally dismissing this side of their daily routines. When people start throwing " they are so hard working" accolades around in abundance , directing them randomly to the acts that perform 1/10 of what BTs is doing, I feel like showing them THIS video. They have been through pain, injuries and exhaustion and yet always giving it their 110%.
Moments like these have been recorded many times over and over on various fan cams, when their performance ends, lights going off and them collapsing to the floor, crawling on all four, thinking they are out of sights. Crazy man, crazy.....
They have done everything to just entertain us and to make us happy.. They are the true idols of the armies like me..
What i likes about BTS is they always give their best in every stage. I rmbr in one of their concert, they always have 3 days for concert n each days, it's the same schedule n songs n choreo n vcr. But jk said they had to give their best in each day even though it's the second or third day because in second or third days, it could Armys who just came for the first time to the concert that day so they cant like give different stages for each day because its unfair to some Armys who didnt come to all three days of the concert. It's mean they always repeatedly dancing to same songs for 3 days for like 2 hours, that wasn't include the rehearsal n practice. The fact that they didn't dancing soullessly but with most energy made me loves them more
I hope their ok, especially now with Jin being in the military and the others trying to get their solo albums done, I miss Jin so much, I hope he's safe and returns to us safely.

BTS LOVEE performing and touring. Their choreographies are super exhausting and detailed but their adrenaline is just boosted because of the crowd, the stage, and everything so sometimes they go too hard. They have talked about this before where they know they shouldn’t go that hard but that’s what makes it look good on stage. Jhope has also adviced them to pace themselves because jimin and jk especially go really hard in performing. Imagine having a set list so tiring, you have to pace yourself like an athlete or marathon runner. These guys are seriously hard workers.

also, for context: the boys tend to have a hard time specially when they’re performing in places with hot weather. if the choreo is too intense, like dionysus or idol, they also tend to get exhausted. they always push themselves to the max, they wanna give their best every single time, specially knowing some people in the audience might not ever get to see them live again. it’s really sad seeing them like this, but it’s something they chose to share on a few occasions.
The one with Hobi coughing at the end of their performance of DNA was because he inhaled smoke from the fireworks, I believe.

This is one of the things I admire about BTS, is that they are not afraid to show when they are ill/tired from performing. It does show that they are human as well. No other artist that I know, would show this side of them. 💞💞💞
I know I'm seven months too late, but... They spoke about those fireworks before. They are trained to move as a formation, and they do that perfectly. But, as a formation they tend to drift around the stage and they ended up too close to fireworks a few times.

Yes! It's like an episode of Casualty backstage of all their concerts. So scary and sad. Makes me feel somewhat guilty when I'm enjoying them. 💜
Sammy don't worry! they do overwork themselves during tours sometimes and get injured, but they are professionals and know what they are doing. They always learn from it, and their staff is always SO helpful whenever something happens. They take care of themselves and each other well, so don't worry too much :')

It's really interesting watching this reaction as a performer myself, because I look at stuff like this and I'm like "yeah, this is accurate to being on stage and the rehearsal process", but I so easily forget that non-performers aren't used to knowing about what goes on behind the scenes, so it's SUPER interesting to get to watch those sorts of viewpoints

I'm with you about how depresing these videos can be. They really go beyond their limits, they really want to give their best at their performances and also like RM said one time at an interview, "they are enjoying the ride" because they don't know how long ther fame and being at the top would last, they really want to share their messages before their status changes. Unfortunately on this industry they have like an "expiration date", a lot of artists careers decline after their 30s, which they are very aware what they are living now would not last for a very long time.
I really hope their legacy stays for many generations.

They don’t force them they do it because they want to give their all. What’s crazy is u can’t tell by watching them on stage they try not to show it until the lights go off or they go down the stairs. It’s heart breaking to see but they r perfectionist and even JK has said it might be somebody’s first time seeing them so they want to give it their all. 💜
The good thing is they have a good company and don’t force BTS to do anything they don’t want to do on the contrary they will say hey if u want just sit out for a bit or the show is almost over why don’t you rest and they say no they want to go back up on stage. 🥺

BTS put great pride into their performances and often remind each other that they are pros. Or, they also say "you can't be like an amateur". On the other end of the spectrum, it also causes them to be upset or be very self-critical. Sometimes they feel like they failed the audience when in truth, the fans didn't notice anything amiss!
All of them always gives 100% on live stage performance but jungkook and jimin always dance till they break their bones, they give 200% and always put power to their performances .That's why you can see jk and jimin more in this video .Even jhope said that jk dances until he breaks his bones.All the seven members passion towards music is insane.
JHope was coughing because of the smoke from fireworks on stage he had to go off and get a drink of water as he couldn’t stop coughing. Jimin and Jungkook are known for giving it their all and sometimes with the heat they come off stage and just drop needing oxygen and fluids quickly. They are often seen having ice packs put on them to cool them down. Jungkook cut his foot but they edited it so it looked like he hurt it a number of times. Jin suffered with neck pain through their dance moves as well as Jimin’s chronic neck and shoulder pains plus he has injured both knees during their dances. They now travel with medical people that help them thankfully.
This is why people should appreciate BTS more and more and more....:(((((((. I feel so bad for their haters, this guys are working so so much.They have al my respect, love and support.😭😭💜💜
Army's know they all do work so much hard for army's only to make us happy to show thier best they work so hard 😭 sometimes it's make me feel so sad. We want them to be safe and healthy yes we want to see thier best performance but thier health is first 💜 Same way they also thinks like this our Armys happiness is first .

bts aren't overworked by the producrion crew. they always do them to themselves since before they even debuted. when they were on tour we were very worried for them, esp when we got the news about injury of one member, then the other. but at the same time all we can do is respect their choice, because if you work so hard and all you get in response is "please don't do it" it's only empty words that don't show any appreciation to what they do. they do get proper medical treatment and that's the only thing i am not worried for. we try to support them as much as we can and the boys say that during tours they feel tuly alive so
some staff said. BTS is the only one group that he watch them use oxygen after their stage. they use their energy on stage.

A lot of these happened on tour which are back to back shows of 3 hours long intense choero and singing and if you have seen their tour schedule it's pretty hectic and then in 2018, I think it was, they had the korean awards season right after they had a world tour. If u watch their year end performances you can tell that they were so tired but they still give it their all so much that a non fan would not even notice it.
their production team doesn't overwork them, they just give it their all at concerts and sometimes go overboard and hurt themselves :( they downplay it by laughing around and also to lighten the atmosphere but they've injured themselves quite a lot.

One of Hobi's movements in We Are Bulletin Pt.2 used his knee.He knelt on the floor, injured his thigh and blood was taken from his thigh.
I remember one time when they were on the plane, the other members were sleeping, and hobi couldn't stand to sleep because of the pain in his knee.
But now hobi told JK that professional artists need to be able to adjust themselves,and while they will certainly do their best to show their fans on stage, staying within their limits is also a sign of professionalism.
