For whoever controls the late show youtube, I suggest making a playlist of all the music guests that way people can put that on and just let run. The music guests are so underrated on the show but it could be a much bigger deal ala tiny desk

Someone took your suggestion. There is a Play All button for the category "Musical Performances" (or any category) when looking at the channel's videos.
It'd also be nice if they could edit out the insipid host introductions.
I feel very blessed that I'm seeing Metric live, twice in one year! I saw them play in a beautiful theatre in Berlin back in February, and now they are playing an intimate acoustic gig in October. I can't belive it! 🥰🥰🥰
I hope they are still using the 'campfire' test on their songs. They will try to strip the song down to Emily singing and Jimmy on acoustic. If it doesn't work they'd fix it or chuck it. This must have risen to the acoustic sessions the two would do of songs in the past. Sometimes as memorable as the full band versions.
I saw them live in Detroit around 2013. They're so good.

I had the honor of meeting Emily and Jimmy on the airplane headed to Mexico, City from Houston, Texas, 10/18/2023, I then, later, saw them outside the Mexico City International airport as they were getting ready to leave the airport in their travel van, I asked them if I could have a photo taken with them, they were so nice about it and said yes. The photo turned out to be a short video instead because the video button was depressed by mistake. I now have such a keepsake, a recorded memory I certainly treasure. Both Emily and Jimmy were such a very nice, down to Earth, lovely couple, I will never forget this day. I flew into Mexico City from San Antonio, Texas to see their show with my daughter in Mexico City, tomorrow, 10/21/2023. I absolutely love this band. Jimmy and Emily are such wonderful folks, a class act.

Why did Stephen introducing them as if he was announcing someone's death? Between that and the lame crowd, this appearance really didn't do justice to Metric or this song. They deserve so much better than this.
